Online Lottery Pool
Jake,I agree with RJOh. You are asking alot of others. If you really want to do what you are proposing in any type of legal manner, you have no idea what is involved.Like I stated before, I run a club/pool in Georgia for the 3 Lottery games we have here and let me tell you it is very time consuming. I probably spend between 15 to 20 hours a week filling out game cards, buying tickets, emailing the members and updating the website daily. I am not complaining because I enjoy doing it. I don't

PB vs MM
Repat,People have been making that argument in many different ways, but it's not true. When Texas first joined MM, there was a very vocal group of members that insisted that the number pool had to be increased in order to get any decent-sized jackpot. Their reasoning was that there were just too many people playing, and the jackpot would not roll over enough.Texas started selling Mega Millions tickets on Dec. 3, 2003.The results? In the first jackpot run, the Mega Millions jackpot was not hit u

I'm Sick Of Losing The Pick 3 Game/Why?
Joy2 Since Ohio has 2 cash 3 drawings you may want to write the Ohio Lottery a letter and ask whether the ballsets used for Cash 3 draws are from the same group, or whether they are from 2 separate groups. If they are from one group the treat your cash 3 selections as if you are dealing with one game. The Ohio Lottery should furnish you a reply as part of public disclosure. GA has one pool of balls from which they select both Mid and Eve Cash 3 draws, so when evaluating probabilities I cons

Hundreds split lottery winnings on popular number combo
The Pennsylvania Lottery either made a lot of people happy Friday night or reminded them that learning to share is still one of life's toughest lessons. For the first time since its inception in 1992, the CASH 5 game was won by a set of numbers that an elementary school kid would love -- 5, 10, 15, 20, 25.Exactly 242 tickets were sold for that combination, meaning each one is worth $439 each. While that's a nice return on a $1 investment, it looks pretty paltry compared to the $446,373.50 jackpot

Luck almost went in the trash
Dartmouth lotto winner nearly tossed out million-dollar ticketBob and Joyce Waterfield have played the lottery for decades hoping to hit the jackpot. When they finally did, they very nearly chucked their good fortune in a trash bin.Mr. Waterfield had a list of Atlantic 6-49 winning numbers in his hands and the Dartmouth senior didn't like what he saw. I looked at it, I didn't have one number right. I damn near threw it away, he said Tuesday. But luck stayed with him and his wife of 59 years. He ke

Tenn. lottery could net $70 million more than expected
The Tennessee lottery could make at least $70 million more than what is needed to fund college scholarships this year, and Gov. Phil Bredesen wants to budget most of the extra for prekindergarten programs.Chief lottery sponsor Sen. Steve Cohen estimates the lottery will have $70 million to $100 million left over after paying for college scholarships this year. He and Bredesen agreed this week to support giving 80 percent of that to prekindergarten programs and 20 percent to after-school programs

Penn. Match 6 Lotto Rules Finalized
I remember that. It was like the illegal (?) parley sheets/office pool. Got a lotta flack from the NFL, and made national news. The other big news at that time there was when Delaware couldn't sell enough tickets to fund its first lottery (Standard 6-digit 50 cent ticket). Similar thing happened in Pa around that time, too. when the powers that be decided that people still wanted to play the illegal pick a 3 digit lottery. so they came up with the $1 Winners Choice pre-printed draw ticket. Officials with Tennessee Boys and Girls Club chapters hope lawmakers will give them some of the unclaimed prize money from the new state lottery. The law that created the lottery requires that half of all unclaimed winnings go back into the prize pool at the end of each fiscal year, while the rest is placed in a special account for after-school programs. The lottery legislation's House sponsor - Rep. Chris Newton, R-Cleveland - said deciding which after-school programs get the money is one of the
