Joining a lottery club?
I was in a 30 person Ohio Super Lotto pool and each player paid $5 a drawing. The pool was set up so the money was split between a pool where each player picked 6 numbers and the first player or players to match their numbers won that pool and the second pool was buying QPs. When the jackpot reached a certain high, 75% went into the jackpot pool and the rest into the player pick pool. The 4 out of 6 matches wins went back into the QP pool, but we were very disappointed when we finally won $1500

The other went to the lower right. Both ended up having reasons to celebrate. The local couple hit side-by-side jackpots on Four Card Keno, winning $100,288 Saturday night at Rampart Casino

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Here's why I dont like the additional drawing per day -
If there are multiple jackpot winners, then the jackpot is divided equally among them. (That's not changing) Suppose there are four winners of the jackpot which was $100,000. That means each winner will receive $25,000 before taxes! A player might net $18,000. Big deal!! NOT!!!!
A $100,000 jackpot will be a whopper of a jackpot. We might see a jackpot that big on Friday's and Saturday's, but the rest of the days of the week the jack

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
What we are really talking about here is Player behavior.
IMHO players love FF5 for it's BIG JACKPOTs and LOW ODDS! It's as simple as that. Of course nobody will become a millionaire playing FF5, but a $200,000 jackpot win is a nice chunk of change.
Players vote with their dollars. When something good disappears, so do the players. FF5 is a very popular game among Florida Lottery players. This two draws a day thing could backfire big time on The Florida Lottery. I hope it does. I dont k

Winning the JACKPOT: Is it Fate, Destiny or Luck?
I would say a combo of luck, and belief.
If I truly believed I would never win, I wouldn't play.
Not just the big jackpots, but hitting 1,2,or 3 numbers.
That gives me enough faith to think one of these days. I'll hit all 6.

Oops
I accidentally posted about this in the main forum
I'm looking forward to being able to track the new day drawing but my first reaction was also concern about the jackpots
I'm hoping that this will cut down on the number of times the pot is shared and that they at least still honor the rolldown when there's no winners

What are the odds?
Sounds like after he won the two and a half million, he bought thousands of tickets for the same game.
Another possibility is that they bought a bunch of winning tickets, including two jackpot winners, from people who didn't want to claim the prizes themselves. The chances of the same retailer selling two jackpots is still fairly low (though vastly higher than the chances that your PB ticket will win the next jackpot), but buying winning tickets for a fraction of the prize value can make it

Asked ChatGPT How To Win the Lottery
I hope we never truly solve it. If anyone ever does, kiss the large jackpots goodbye!
There is a way to find sets that will be drawn within a given period. But all the skill, all the programming, all the knowledge of patterns, sets, numbers, etc., requires some amount of luck.
I still believe some are born with the innate ability to put numbers together, while people like me have to work at it. So I put in the work and pray to get lucky.

Tonight's Powerball drawing offering massive $747 million jackpot
wouldn't surprise me
but it vexes me that after a price jack, at least two matrix changes and then the final insult was the lowering of he starter jackpot by $20 million
we are just now seeing the giant jackpots we were promised decade and so ago ?!?

Asked ChatGPT How To Win the Lottery
If you have a $1,000 to play each game, how many times a week is it now? 3? Or still 2? Anyways, my question is, why would you be spending it on the lottery? That's 6 figures a year on lottery. Lottery. But I guess you can afford to. Most can't. Not my kind of math. But I know some people who spend a couple hundred a day. Eventually they get like 50 grand on the win4. But in the end, they still need more. I've spent at most around 10,000 on lottery in a year. Only because I was hot or good. Numb
