BobP = I use a chart I call Level of Play . I wanted software that would generate combinations based upon the information in that chart, therefore, I needed a number generator that would give combinations in a controlled environment. Then I eliminate combinations based upon other criteria that I have been able to develop to reduce the number of combinations (220) down to a smaller pool.Zeno = Yes there are 1000 EXACT combinations of 10 digits 0-9. There are also 220 base combinations.

Because my Sum Total tracking applies strictly to the Pick 3 game where there are only Sums of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27.Now, there is a way that I can take my Pick 3 software and track individual numbers in the larger Lotto by position of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and BB balls. Give it a chance. I read the same story in the paper also, (see my other post), and am not confused, but I'm wondering also how this will work. This story was first reported in the harrisburg Patriot - News last Friday. Most of the details were given; yes it will be sort of like Super 6; players can pick 6 numbers, (out of 49); the other two plays are freebees. My only question after reading the article and trying to figure the odds is that apparently 10 numbers are drawn. According to the story, (I didn't do all the math) the chances of getting $2 (minimum) prize is 1 in 9. this is about the same as the Cash 5 game. I'm wondring

This applies to everyone including LottoKing. I figure that rather than posting predictions(although that is OK), maybe we should all concentrate on figuring out how we arrive at the numbers we do.
