Delaware Lottery looking for $7.7 million winner
After reading this article earlier this evening, I have since looked through the two main papers in Delaware, The News Journal and the Delaware State News, and I couldn't find it in either. Perhaps I missed it. I think the article seemed to indicate that the lottery was trying to concentrate on the Harrington area to locate the winner. I was told that where the ticket was sold is very near the casino at the fair grounds and is also on the main highway leading north and south through Delaware. I

Why are lottery winners dying??
Quote: Originally posted by twisted on December 4, 2004 It seems to me that negative stories make the news because they are more interesting (to the general public) than the positive stories. You always hear of how a lottery winner lost it all after winning or how he died right after winning the big one. You dont hear much of how peoples lives have been positively impacted by winning the lottery.I guess the world we live in today is the world where people's misery is more interesting. Just like

Wisconsin Lottery switches to computers to select winning numbers
I'll bring it up again. Approximately 1987-1989 The Connecticut Lottery ran into a little trouble with their Pick3 drawing. Appearantly, everyone in the State and surrounding States played 555 or 513 on a May 5th or on a Friday the 13th. (Criscross) and Connecticut had to borrow an additional $80 Million+ Dollars to compensate those winners. I clearly remember the Director of the Lottery (About that time.) Stating: That will never happen again in a Hartford Current Newspaper. I knew then tha

Online Gaming
Yeah, the same article appeared in USA Today last week. The author obviously has no experience with PlayLot -- especially lumping them in with a risky site like buypowerballonline.com -- but at least she set the record straight on that scam site Lottery Universe.Lottery officials, like the one quoted in the article, have a duty to say don't do it , because that's the politically correct thing to say. The fact remains however, that PlayLot has been around for so long because they are an exce

Group buys every Pick 3 lottery combination and wins
Hey, I've been visiting the site for awhile, finally joined so I can respond on this. The article in the St. Louis Post- Dispatch has a photo showing the store director congratulating the guy with two of his friends in the background and the caption saying he picked up more than $16,000 cash at the store. You can read it and see the photo at the Post-Dispatch web site (www.stltoday.com) . I'm new at this so I have no clue on how to make a link. The story ran on Saturday Aug. 7 so click on sto

Just for Reference
Have you read a good article lately? Is there any way you can post it or give the link to it. Perhaps, if each member just posted one of their favorite articles, maybe it would answer a whole lot of questions. An aide to the newbie, a path of developement for the semi-experienced, and a relief to the experts from having to answer the same questions over and over. I think we've all heard at one time or another, it's all been done before, and that's it's all here if you dig. But, finding all those

picking OhioSuperLotto+ numbers 07/10
One of the hardest things to avoid, is to not allow drawing results influence your set strategy, I know, I've kicked myself many times for this and never learned my lession. This makes me think of something I wrote sometime ago about Hunters and Trappers. Hunters are always chasing the numbers while Trappers build a trap and wait for the numbers and conditions to come to them. The thing is that when it comes to lottery drawings, you know that you're not going to win everytime you play. But, if yo

Does God really hate gambling?
noluckyet, thanks for the link.......unfortunately the article sites the possibility of gambling being frowned upon by talmudic teachers/followers. the article sites the talmud which is an orally handed down set of laws that severely contradicts/departs from the written law of God in the old testament or torah . it is not a companion, but an enemy of the torah.....especially when it comes down to the description of mans salvation and the procurement of it (thru God alone......and not man
