State Lottery Minimum Jackpot to bet.
Since I've given up on Mega Millions, I'm looking at maybe betting on my State Lottery (Indiana). I was wondering, For those betting on their state lottery, do you have a minimum Jackpot amount? I assume that the Cash Payout value (after-tax) of the state lottery is about 25% (for Indiana it's about 27.5%, but the math is easier at 25%). So I wait until it hits $10M. Any thoughts?

I am wondering if the new layout , I have seen the mega millions on the machines, but does the x enhanced number appear on the ticket as is and then if you match any numbers it automatically mentions what prize you win. However they should have not done $5, $3 a ticket.

I dunno man. I was on Facebook checking out Mega millions posts. And people seem out raged. But we are definitely going to see who out paces who. In the next couple of weeks. And people seem to not be happy about the bonus x amount being already printed on the ticket too. It's gonna be very interesting to see how this goes. I'm curious to see the numbers on Friday. Cause if I see more grouped numbers like I did on Tuesday. It's gonna be a huge red flag for me.

From what I gather. They will not bump it 50 million. After the jackpot is hit, the amount will reset to a base of $50 million. If the jackpot is still rolling after the drawing on April 4, 2025, it will continue to roll until it is hit, and will then reset to $50 million. And all they did to change the game was remove 1 mega ball. So the odds went from 1 and 24 to 1 and 23.07. This is just my opinion. But I think mega millions shot there selfs in the foot.
