Powerball ticket price to increase to $3 in Idaho
Your second sentence speaks volumes. No accountability, just do as they please. Using Covid-19 was just an excuse IMHO to drop the starting jackpots..conveniently MM PB both agree to that.
I hope that KLC goes back to ball drawings vs RNG but something tells me when pigs fly they'll revert back to that.
2020 was the pick 4 today here and paid out handsomely!

New York Lottery changes Take 5 game to twice-daily drawings
I always heard it was 1 in 9. There is no dollar prize in take5. Just a free play. Which is either thrown away or lost the next night. 3 out of 5 gets you money back. Like 16 to 25 bucks typically. So in the end like rcbuckeye was saying, it's a mental trick to get you to keep playing. But if you want to play and want to dream I hope you do win. But odds of a jackpot are 1 in 575,000 or so, so you'd have to be that 1 person out of over half a million other people that don't win. Hence the term g

Will the new three day drawing schedule for Powerball increase the jackpot?
No...it will only increase Player's losses! and I don't know about how most players feel, but I think it's intellectually insulting...they've already reneged on their $40 Million starting Jackpots, but never reduced the cost BACK to $1. per ticket.. now with this extra draw day,..they're saying. .. oh.!, never mind that, nobody's paying attention.. let's just find another orafice to insert screw'em even more ..!!

Winning $10K+
I recently won $1,000 twice in one week on an Idaho draw game... tickets were quick picks and purchased in different cities.... both times just one more number would have been a jackpot of more than $1 million . Not sure how i got so lucky but it sure felt good. 15 years of being a regular lotto player and those are my biggest wins!
And in case anyone is wondering i spent $20 on both tickets... not going crazy chasing jackpots lol.
Good Luck to everyone for the rest of the year

How would you react if you missed a massive jackpot by one number?
The 1983 to 1987 version of the Ohio Lotto was 6/40 with a starting jackpot of $250,000, but in November 1983 the starting jackpot was increased to $1 million. In 1984 eight people split a $24 million jackpot and started a string of 11 consecutive winning drawings. That and the previous drawing were the only $14 million jackpot were the only two double digit jackpots in the entire life of that game.
The 6/44 Super lotto tickets were $1 until they went two plays for a buck 6/53 game and then b

I am going to attempt making lots of winnings in the lottery of pick 3 is this a good idea?
Does anyone have advice for me on winning to much
Considering millions of people are trying to win billion dollar jackpots, have no idea what you mean by winning to much .
I live in Canada and know of the online lottery ticket deposits. My concern is the signature.
Not an easy thing signing the back of the ticket when there is no ticket to sign, eh?

$731.1 million Powerball jackpot claimed by anonymous group in Maryland
I think K Y Floyd is on to what probably happened with this win in the second part of his statement. One person bought one ticket and won. He wanted to share with his family, maybe a few friends. He went to seek financial advice and a savvy tax person told him he would have to pay all of the Federal taxes on the money and then when he gave money away, he would also have to pay the gift tax on the money he gave away amounting to double taxation. The tax adviser than suggested that a lottery club

Lottery ticket sold in Pennsylvania wins $516 million Mega Millions jackpot
But do the numbered ping pong balls know Gematria?
The balls may not be the dumbest things on the planet, but they're pretty dumb and there's extremely little that they know.
Oh, how many huge jackpots were won on the 27th drawing?
Whether you qualify the question with huge or not, the answer is one. Of course the nature of counting probably means that a bunch of other numbers are at least as common as 27.

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Just stumbled across something this morning that confirms some of what's been said in this thread. Do a google search for US patent US7909691B1. The title of the patent is this: Method and system for selecting winning numbers in a lottery game
It talks about what's going on behind the scenes when the system is selecting the winning numbers to be drawn. There's a step in the process to make large jackpots more likely. It selects the numbers randomly but then looks at the most common numbers pl
