Developing a winning MegaMillions System
From my observation on Mega Million I see:
- There are no repeating numbers from the previous result. There were once that happend in the last 20 days, on 10/14/08, number 14 repeated from the previous drawing, from 10/10/08. So automatically we reduce 56 down to 51 numbers.
- From 1 - 56 I have divided them into numbers group. I also do this for pick 5 games, helps to see which set of numbers to eliminate without worries.
A: 1 - 14
B: 15 - 28
C: 29 - 42
D: 43 - 56

Lotto 6/49 Canada - improving odds by prediction lists
Hi everybody,
With precious help from my friends I have developed a method that improves the odds of winning the Lotto 6/49 Canada by up to 20 times (for a 6-numbers set played).
The idea is to choose the 6-set played from a pool that is about 20 times smaller than the total pool of ~14 million possible 6-set. So instead of playing randomly with 1 in 14 million odds you can play not-so-randomly for 1 in 700 000 from my prediction list. If you play 10 sets from our list you get 1 in 70 000

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
RJ, I just modified my program a bit to check pool sizes of the maximum through the history (instead of manually putting in 349, or 300, 255, etc). This allowed me to print out some more statistics on systems used with a 'max' pool size for the entire run.
Here are some of my recent WB methods for MM and their statistics (starting with draw 3 and looking forward, 348 tested):
FOLLOWERS (36 number group):
3 or better of the winning numbers: 76.45% (266 of 348)
All 5 winning numbers: 8

These are my picks for tonight. I didn't get a chance to pick my WB pool since I was watching the debate. I put my RNG on auto and it took the first numbers to pop up that was a good fit from the pool of 56 that hadn't been used in that round. The RNG needed 2 and a half rounds to get twenty lines.

And for tomorrow's drawing, I would select these for Mega Millions:
WB: Top 36 most common due ranks hit calculated with pool sizes of 300 since the Matrix change
MB: Middle 20 due powerballs, calculated with a pool size of 200 draws.

Scratch my picks for Friday that I posted yesterday. That was a little preemptive. I modified the software so choosing ranges won't be manual now. The software takes the pool size of your choice (using 300), and loops through the back check making note of where all numbers were ranked that hit. Then we choose the top 36 ranking spots, and pick numbers from those ranks for the next drawing. We are using this method for Powerball (back checking shows very positive results), and we'll go with the f

Can't Feed the Pig when Uncle Sam & The Lottery Steals all the Food
WARNING: LONG READ AHEAD
I am truly sick to my stomach after analyzing the numbers of the PA Lottery.
I'm using PA as an example, but Im sure whatever state you live in, the numbers are most likely similar. Right now, for every dollar in ticket sales, only $0.38 is returned to the players. I always believed the numbers were closer to 50/50, but thats not the case. So right now, if PA sold $1,000,000 of Cash 5 tickets, the pool is only going to be around $300k-$400k. Pretty significant chu

Date Specific Dream
Date specific Dream
I had a dream about something but could only remember the date.
It was a specific date minus the year very vividly.
Example Friday October the 7th (this is not the real date)
So I thought I will buy some lotto tickets in a couple of states on that date.
Well nothing happened. Not one number.
The reason I even brought this up is because of what 2 people told one of my brothers.
(Psychics / Prophet's) not sure what to call th

opinions, please
In looking at various lottery systems out there it is not clear to me if everybody considers terms like cold , due , hot , etc. in the same way.
I feel I need the opinion of experienced players on the following issues:
If a number hits a lot, say 15-25 times of the last 100 draws, and its median skip is low, say 1 ,2 or 3, (meaning it had a tendency to repeat often in the last 100 draws) but the number has not appeared for say, 8 draws already,
Is it now cold?
Is it overdue?
