Is it possible to remain anonymous in NJ through a trust or attorney?
Is it possible to remain anonymous in New Jersey through a trust or attorney after winning the Mega Millions Jackpot? I have often wondered about this and would like to know so I can be prepared when I win (oh yeah, I WILL win lol!).
Also, am I right to say that if you have a list of people you want to share the winnings with at the time of claiming the prize, the money will not be double taxed . Meaning if I got the money first and paid taxes on it then dispersed the money to the people o

I am all for remaining anonymous, but if you win a big jackpot I think you are better off just giving the cursory interview to the media and being done with it. The intrigue factor just goes up if someone wins $250 million+ and tries to remain anonymous. There's a post in one of the 'remain anonymous' threads here on the board where someone mentioned a theorhetical case where someone would become famous for winning their case to ramain anonymous after winning a jackpot.
I forget who posted that, sounds like somnething justxploring would say!
