New feature for IE users
I totally forgot to mention this the past two times I posted about new features available.
Internet Explorer users (version 8 and above) now can add a Lottery Post Accelerator to their browser. An accelerator is a small icon that appears any time you have highlighted some text on the page, and it allows you to instantly do something with that highlighted text.
When you highlight text, the icon that appears looks like this:
When you click the icon, you get a list of options for what you

What State In America Has THE Best Lottery?
1. I hit alt Print Screen keys at the same time. (This will take snapshot of current window and place it in clipboard.
2. I brought up Microsoft Paint program. (i.e. Start/All Programs/Accessories/Paint)
3. From within Paint I selected Edit Menu/Paste, or you can hit CTRL-V from the keyboard. This will paste the image from the clipboard from step 1 into your paint program.
4. I then saved the results as a .JPEG file.
5. I then brought up Paint Shop Pro image editing software where I

I occasionally take prolonged breaks from reading lotterypost and I believe your fool by randomness thread was just prior to my return. For all practical purposes, what the lotteries do with their RNG is obviously enough, they rake in the money and people keep playing. That's not to say that there isn't any flaws with their RNG's, there almost certainly is. Of course, with the exception of Keno, chances are the software isn't in the same RNG sequence from draw to draw so there's very little samp

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: Extended Maintenance Period
Thanks c j. (Although far from perfect!)
I just wanted to wrap up this topic (and this event) by saying that I have finally finished the work that was the subject of the downtime today.
(That is, I have finished just about everything that will affect Web visitors and members. There is still a lot of work that I personally need to do over the next two days to wrap everything up, but I don't think it will involves any kind of substantial downtime.)
As there normally is with this kind of t

Question about editing
Todd, thank you. Helpful information. I think I will use your last advice on continuing using Foxfire. I think it's almost tweaked for what works for me on this site's editor. Even though I do have IE7. I'm running the lastest versions of both.
I just like Firefox because it is webmaster friendly. I am such an ignorant, inexperience webmaster that when I ran up on Firefox - I throw stones at IE7. I'm like why doesn't Microsoft do that for us since most people use their browsers Go figur

New page identifies problems with your web browser

I am well aware of where the progress of the net is at. I know what DSL/Cable feels like - I also know what it costs. You can get mimimum DSL for less than $20/mo in my area. I consider it too expensive for a hobby toy (whatever you want to call a computer). I wouldn't go back to being on the net in DOS for free but I also wouldn't consider DSL or cable at this point in time.
IE 7 is recommeneded for XP or better. It should not be installed on Win98 or ME.
The upgr

New version of IE Spell available for download
IE Spell is the spell-checker that works with Lottery Post's rich text editor, and also supports a powerful set of features for use in any web page, once it's installed.
Naturally, as indicated by its name, it only works in Microsoft Internet Explorer (it does not work in Firefox or Safari).
There is a new version of IE Spell that I've made available for download. (Version 2.5.1) Anyone who has installed an older version can easily upgrade by clicking the link and following the normal in

Help! My excel system is no longer working
Man! You just do not loose a CAB file out of the blue. I got to believe a virus has hit her system. Of course without seeing what is happening it is really hard to guess. However, I have been out the trouble shooting business for a while but if I had the guts I would have her subscribe to GO TO MY PC for just a month and look at her system then one could really know what gives. I use GTMPC for access to a family member business system to help out from time to time and it seems to work prett

SKU is a acronym for store keeping unit.
This is from the what its worth department. It sounds to me like you are suffering from a storage or memory overload. Also if you try to re-install EXCEL or any office application and the SKU already installed does not match the CD you are trying to install it from, it just will not install.
Now I am assuming you are using XP-PRO as an operating system. Several things you should be doing. Insure that you are keeping up with all the updat
