The all-time record for any digit is shared by 6 and 8 at 29 skips.Hope to have an updated top ten thread for Thu day up in a bit.

Oregon Megabucks reaches record $25.5 million
When people walk through the door of Center Market looking for a few essentials these days, those essentials often include an Oregon Lottery ticket -- thanks to a record Megabucks jackpot. Usually, they come in for something else and buy the tickets as well, said Soni Singh, manager of the store near Center and 17th streets NE. Today, they're just coming in for the tickets. And they are buying them in bunches, Singh said. On Wednesday, one customer spent $125 on tickets; another spent $325. La

Stunned Delaware workers to claim $214 million Powerball jackpot
I asked the same question (about who can sign the ticket) here:https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/97495.htmOne poster said a signature won't become public record, but no one has confirmed or clarified this- whether or not you can safely sign the ticket with your personal signature and not risk your name becoming public record. Anyone know for sure?

Virginia Lottery Celebrates 16th Anniversary
When the Virginia Lottery sold its first ticket on September 20, 1988, there was excitement and anticipation, but also uncertainty. There was no guarantee that a lottery in Virginia was going to succeed and benefit the Commonwealth. But succeeded it has. In the sixteen years since the first ticket was sold, the Virginia Lottery has sold $14.3 billion in tickets and turned over more than $4.9 billion to the Commonwealth.Since 1999, Virginia Lottery revenues have gone directly to public education

Mega Millions June 15th 2004
...and i still think this year we might likely see a new record jackpot either with Mmill or Pball. Either a new all time high jkpt split several ways or a record high for a single ticket. It's definitely time to shatter some old records and move on to new highs. The year isn't even half done and it feels like the time is rapidly drawing near ...it just seems due :)
