The world may never know who won a $202 million lottery jackpot
Math time... $202 minus taxes. Fed, State, City taxes when collecting over 30 years.
Cash Value is $142.2 million but the Feds get 37%. $142.2 X .63 = $89,586,000.00
$89.6 million is a nice amount but it is not $202 million.
We shall see if granting anonymity will hurt sales and jackpots. When another billion-dollar jackpot is presented, anonymous States may see an increase is sales.

So, it looks like the new $30 game is the same brand/theme as the one I posted from Mass a page or two back. This should be an interesting, and exciting game for people to play. I'm going to lay low until that game comes out. I haven't been lucky at all.
So, even though the last report on Power 5s showed two stores as having it across the state, I stumbled upon a store here in Hialeah today that had 7 Power 5 tickets. I went and bought the last 7. Sadly, only $10 back out of $35. It was

Maryland Lottery launches new Fast Play instant games
It's a contagious disease being passed around state lottery websites. CA was recently afflicted. A lot of state lotteries are buying into the idea that if they hide information players need to make informed decisions they will buy more tickets.
Progressive jackpots sound good to me. DELotteryPlyr, do you wait to play until the jackpot has grown quite a bit? What's your threshold for buying a ticket?
CA hasn't introduced a fundamentally new game in a long time (not counting new editions of

Who would you form a lottery pool with?
For a lot of people their coworkers are the largest group of people they know who are all acquainted with one another and live in the same general area. The CA lottery website used to show case more winners and jackpot captains as they called them, and I remember some of the winning pools were groups of friends or family, but they were pretty small, no more than half a dozen people. The appeal of group play is buying tons of tickets, for which you need a big group.
I don't play in pools so I

Do you think it's time for a PB / MM merger?
I dunno, looks like the Greedy Side Economic Financial Plan has caused one of these lottery's jackpot run to grow at a snail's pace.
The $2.00 a line price hasn't grown jackpots like it was supposed to.
The $8.00 to $12.00 a line per week is cutting hard in to people's hard earned dollars.

Alabama lawmaker tries again with new lottery proposal
Lottery players will be cheering in the streets of MS when MM PB roll over this week. This should add to the sale of tickets. Publicity will be wonderful.
Both MM and PB changed their ball configuration to insure LARGE jackpots.
We will welcome all players who join us.

Holy Moly! Pb Certainly Wastes No Time In Climbing Back Up.
This will be the 24th drawing. The $253.7 million cash value is higher than usual, so the advertised $373 million is about the same value as previous jackpots of about $400 million or more, but the last time PB got to $400 million (advertised at 414 and 251.1 cash on 3/9/19) it was the 21st drawing. The one before that as 470 (268.6 cash) on the 20th drawing. Maybe you weren't watching for a while, but I'd say it's taking it's time to climb back up.
As for when you buy, it doesn't mean a

Mississippi men tried cashing in lottery ticket after gluing on the winning numbers, officials say
Adding Mississippi will increase the number of possible players by less than 1%. Even if they buy tickets at two or three times the average rate that will increase sales by less than 2 or 3%. If we call it an even 3% the current PB cash jackpot would be about $6 million higher, which is a nice chunk of change, but more likely we'd be looking at an extra $2 million after 10 weeks of rollovers.
Based on the current sales estimates a 3% increase in sales would reduce the chances of a rollover fr

During the 1-2 months the yellow LFL was announced to end, some reps were going around picking up unopened books. It is possible some funny business has happened, affecting 1 or more of the unclaimed jackpots.
That game is around 90% sold out, and it sells at such a slow rate...I don't think we would see it completely sell out until 2023-2025. People really just don't like scratching it, and most retailers don't carry it.
Good luck on the 100X Book. As far as the $20 Monopoly, t
