I definitely believe that the more numbers 31 and lower that are drawn, the more likely a large pot will be claimed and split amongst multiple winners. Tons of people who manually pick out numbers randomly are going to include numbers 1-31 both because they feel like having only 32+ is unlikely. Also, significant dates, which often form people's lucky numbers are going to require at least one of these number. 7, or any number ending in 7 is going to be more likely to be chosen by players

Frenzy, mania occurs with big jackpots. I have seen people at the ATM getting $1,500.00 for 50 Thirty Dollar tickets. 500 quick picks with Powerplay. The clerk counts the money, programs the terminal to print the tickets. Large orders, there's a progress indicator with a grey bar that moves to 100%. The sound of the printer continuously printing those large orders sticks in my brain. I have seen people playing $1,000.00 on Lotto.

IDK if it is true, but several of us have commented over the years one commonality. All those listed are coastal states. I might add four of your list are densely populated. Maybe more players=more winners? As for the Powerball full jackpots, Indiana still ranks highest, so that blows the aforementioned theory out the window. Still have tickets from them until EOM. There are a lot of Patel's in this country Patel is a common name in India like Smith, Jones, Brown, etc. Lots of stores all over the country are owned in operated by members of the Patel family and most of their stores have lottery terminals. Many people left with more knowledge of playing and many systems to use. The site has a ton of systems and great ideas. They don't need to listen to the nonsense of people constantly asking for predictions etc. So, as a result they leave. They have what they need. Its a no brainer. Probably nothing to do with jackpots. I know of a few long time members who contribute for awhile and then they leave when they grow tired of the nonsense.
