Did Mega Millions take Powerball's crown?
It seems to me that PB used to always do better than MM at any particular jackpot amount, but I'm wondering if the recent $1.5 billion jackpot has changed that. After the two big jackpots were won PB grew more quickly for a while, until they were nearly equal at 172 and 171 million for 11/27 and 11/28. Maybe this is the first story that will eventually lead to a matrix change for one or both games. The next story will be one where a group of unknown players will say that they think adding balls to the games is a good idea and will provide higher jackpots. April 17, 2019 If the winner/s claim next year than their tax day would be April 15, 2020. Check with your CPA about quarterly payments. It's sad that this is actually news! The jackpots here in MI used to get up to $20,000,000 to $35,000,000 all the time before the multi state games came in. Now, it takes years for a decent winnable jackpot while we all get to sit back and watch as the multi state games get won only 3 to 5 times each per year.
