Why do jackpot winners feel the need for an attorney or financial adviser?
If I ever won a major jackpot why would I need the advice of a high-priced attorney or financial adviser ? Common sense tells me to save my money. I'd distribute the money through several banks and live off the interest. As for the attorney and financial adviser...Who's going to watch over the watchers? I don't trust them. In Wisconsin recently an attorney was accused of fraud...She stole millions from clients. Way too many greedy people out there now days. Just my two cents.

First lawsuit in state lottery-fixing scandal seeks millions
It was one of those feel-good moments that lotteries love to promote when Lucky Larry Dawson smiled as he claimed a $9 million jackpot, surrounded by kids and grandkids. But five years later, the Iowa man could become a key player in a barrage of litigation that threatens to cost state lotteries tens of millions of dollars in damages in an insider jackpot-rigging scandal. A Des Moines law firm filed a lawsuit Wednesday on Dawson's behalf seeking to declare that his Hot Lotto jackpot in May 20

With $63M jackpot expiring today, Calif. Lottery sued by owner of damaged ticket
Ay Dios Mio! I see Our Lady of Guadalupe! Seriously, are they sure this nut job isn't the same one who claims that the Robinson's ($328M Powerball winners) daughter Tiffani is going to murry' his illiterate, incarcerated, moron self? Oh, that's right, this guy's name is Brandy (???). When the judge finds for the defendant (the CA Lottery), I hope he tacks on 12 months in County for fraud on this scammer. What an absolute WASTE of the courts time and the people of California's tax dollars.

Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich answers your questions
Here's an analogy to consider: If one person is the victim of credit card fraud, should all credit cards be thrown away and/or outlawed? Any equipment that Eddie Tipton programmed or built or even accessed is no longer in use here in Iowa. That is an important consideration for those concerned about game integrity. In addition, we have done our best to be transparent about what has occurred and to address the changes that have been made. If anything, this case is shining a valuable spotlight on

Holy (SNIP) you won the Powerball... Champagne wishes and caviar dreams...
Well I suppose since you said NEAR Beverly Hills you might find something modest lol. Startup investment, ipo's......it is not like it used to be, very iffy and lots of fraud IMO of course. 80% is a lot to put in one basket.

Florida Lottery Holiday Millionaire Raffle
Does anyone know if the $1 million top prize is paid out as an annuity? With all this talk about fraud RNG's I am getting somewhat nervous about the possibility with this raffle being compromised as well....I hope I'm wrong about this suspicion. Good luck to all who have a ticket for tonight's drawing.
