Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
This $5 ticket is intriguing for hitting $500. My mom might actually start getting one of these rather than the $2 tickets she plays. If she hits $500 before I do, I'm gonna be maaaad. Other than that everything above that in this game is a dream. Based on the print (without taking into consideration any extra print runs), there should be a winner approximately every 44,000 rolls or 22 Pools (2,000 books to a pool). I'm assuming they release about 5-6 pools per week in the games early li

Take5 NY
Sam, thank YOU! I haven't played C4L in quite a while. As to it's fate, I doubt it will go the way Sweet Milly did, only because it's played in eight or nine states now. So it must be working out, or the other states wouldn't pick the game up. New York needs to freshen up their online games... Take5 jackpots absolutely stink these days ($60,000 before taxes and they're usually split two or three ways) I remember not so long ago when Friday night jackpots were in the $100,000 to $105,000 ra

State lotteries losing revenue to 'jackpot fatigue' and casinos
Correct. A simple example is the recent PA Lottery raffle. $10 million worth of tickets offered with $5,089,200 allocated in prizes; ~51% payback, which is typical of most lottery numbers games. However, payback percentage alone isn't the end all be all, if much of the prize pool is allocated to very difficult to win top prizes. This is how some casinos can offer games, typically slots, near or even exceeding 100% payback and still make money. Few players have enough time nor big enough bankr

Question about pick 5/pools
Does anyone do or know how to get involved in a pick 5 small pool (like 2-3 people in total). I live in NJ and I often buy $15 or $20 everytime the jackpot goes over like $500k or $600k, and it occurred to me that splitting a jackpot between $600k-1mil three ways is pretty darn good especially with better odds of like 3 people playing $15 or $20 each. Anyone know if there are any small pools around in things like that with the pick 5? I would guess the only rule would be the

Keno Rules
Sudoku has over 27,000 times more possibilities than Keno. 5 Years ago a simple Blackberry could solve an ultra-hard Sudoku puzzle in less than 10 seconds. The only difference between a game of chance and a puzzle is that the puzzle has more defined rules. So, lets go down the rabbit hole, and make some rules... We're talking about a pool of 80 numbers, and 20 are drawn from it- That isn't the game, its the framework from in which we will work. I don't need absolute certainties every

Mega Millions last night
Your pet peeve is misguided. The number of winner(s) won't be officially known until the winning ticket is redeemed. Pool winners sometimes jump out and start bragging, but it could be months before the lottery will issue an official announcement. Don't know why you would expect anyone in LP to know initially if there was more than one winner. But, who really cares? It wasn't me. Time to move on to the next jackpot.

$403 MILLION: Red hot Powerball jackpot rolls again
12th-largest cash value in US history By Todd Northrop This week Powerball is the hot ticket, featuring a lump-sum cash payout of nearly a quarter billion dollars. The new high-water mark of $403 million for the current Powerball annuity jackpot estimate was achieved after no winning tickets were sold for Saturday night's $361 million grand prize. The lump-sum cash payout value of Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is $243.9 million the 12th-largest ever recorded in United States lottery

California man claims $191M Mega Millions jackpot
. MyPieMaster, hoarder of large stacks of bills: I wish I could have won some of it. I like the no longer any more desires part. Well, I hope it was in a pool. But, does it seem like he may have jumped the gun, and went to cash it in right away, possibly without the Lawyer and F.A., which is how the media got his info?

Where will we find you after you claim the Power Ball prize?
I will be grateful for any win. However, regarding today's jackpot of $141 net to me, yes you are right, especially since I will be splitting the jackpot three ways! For the jackpot today, we each would net $47 mill. That is more than enough to live on for the rest of my life and leave for what is left to my very small family. Not much to spend millions on after a new house, car, truck and same for family and friends. Living high on the hog for me would be a multi million dollar home where I wou

2017 PA Millionaire Raffle With Six EARLY BIRD Drawings!
Something happened to me last Saturday during that New Year's Eve ticket buying frenzy, when I bought the second set of 7 tickets for the pool I run at work. It doesn't mean anything as far as winning tickets go, it's just an observation on my part. In the past, when it's early in the ticket sales cycle, and I've asked for 7 tickets, after I told the clerk how many I wanted, many times various clerks were quick to say something like That's $140 or they made a comment like Wow! That's a lot of
