I run an office pool and we usually buy about $50-60 worth of tickets when the jackpots for PB or MM exceed $250M. The overall odds never change on the game, but I would never spend $50-60 on PB or MM by myself. As a pool, you are buying more chances to win. When we have healthy jackpots going, the roll over amts are higher. Even tho both MM and PB reset, their roll overs are still higher than the expected minimum. If they both roll this weekend, they go up to: MM $45 mil approx. $16 M after fed taxes. PB $ 53 mil approx. $20.3 M after fed taxes. I'll take either one - or tonight's.
