If you won a lottery jackpot..........
Actually, I emailed the Iowa Lottery and asked them whether or not a trust can be formed to claim a prize, and this is what they told me: Thank you for contacting us. Iowa state law dictates that lottery officials cannot keep winner information secret. However, winners do not have to appear before the press or even show up in person to get their check. To our knowledge, only one Powerball member lottery currently permits winners to remain anonymous (Delaware). State lawmakers want the public to

Georgia Lottery Scratch Games' Empty Promises
Delaware updates the instant prizes remaining page every week. They are pretty clear about pulling games off the market when the last top prize is claimed. Seems to me that any state that doesn't do that is going to end up being sued. Its pretty much a simple case of false advertising if they leave a game on sale that can't possibly award the top prize printed on the ticket. Burying a disclaimer in the fine print on an instant ticket surely isn't going to cover them. Hell, I can't read print tha

Delaware legislation eliminates computerized lottery drawings
This is getting exciting. If both Delaware and Indiana get their bills passed, it could provide momentum for other states to follow.Do you see how we can all make a difference? People will listen when we are unified, and when we explain the problem in clear terms.Especially at the State level, your legislators will listen to you. Call them, and let them know how you feel. They cannot guess, they need you to tell them. Most of them are very friendly people, and they want to know what you're

Landmark bill would ban computerized lottery drawings in Delaware
bigbets:You know exactly what I'm talking about, and again you throw out useless comments and arguments in order to hide your true intentions. I never asked personal information - you're the one who started throwing out useless junk like male, went to Penn State (go Lions) , etc. (Although I love Penn State, you mentioned it as a sarcastic remark.)We're inching closer to the truth here, but it's obvious that you don't want to be forthcoming without being confronted.Anyone following this threa

New Delaware Lotto Game to be Launched Amid Concerns Over Drawings
MillionsWanted: Absolutely correct.Jake: Sorry to hear about your rough time in Delaware, that must be very frustrating. I am shocked at everything I hear from your Lottery Director (Lemons); he is certainly not player-friendly. A player-friendly Director would not make statements in the press that basically amount to who cares what the players want, this is what I'm going to do. For the life of me, I cannot understand the bitter opposition to regular mechanical lottery drawing machines and
