I think that maybe included in the platinum plan for winners is the ability for anonymous posting as a second standard user. The second account wouldn't have pm's or it would just get flooded anyways with requests for cash. Requesting that they buy everyone an account would be off but if someone wants to do anonymous posting as a winner then this would be one way of doing it.

You just won the jackpot...
I didn't post at first, because I honestly have no idea what I would do. With all the horror stories about people claiming ownership and filing bogus lawsuits, I'd be paranoid about posting my winning ticket. I think it would be nice to mention Todd and his web site during the press conference however. I guess if it were a quickpick nobody could say hey, I posted those numbers back in Oct! You never know how people are going to react when somebody wins millions of dollars, even your family

$270M Mega Millions lottery jackpot claimed anonymously
I am glad to read the winner's story here. I would respect his or her decision to remain anonymous as far as it's permitted. And, I hope that the winner would spend the money wisely. Congrats to the anonymous winner!

Anonymous winner in Indiana!
Whoa! This blew my mind! Here is a press release from the Hoosier Lottery: A representative for the Boulon Revocable Trust claimed the $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot from the March 4 drawing. The winner elected to take the cash option worth $3.2 million. The prize was claimed March 10. The jackpot winning ticket was purchased at Speedway #6140 at 5221 S. Emerson in Indianapolis. This is the first time I have ever seen an anonymous winner in Indiana. This person not only has their

THE NEBRASKA 8! No way do I show my face.
If you check out my post since being a member, I champion remaining anonymous more than anyone. I actually wrote to the lottery officials here in Maryland seeking guidance on this issue, and have it in writing that I could remain anonymous. However, the larger the winning jackpot is, it will be impossible to remain anonymous. All anyone has to do is file a Freedom of Information request at Lottery Headquarters, and they are compelled to turn over the info. It would serve the winner any wi
