Actually, being serious, I agree with Todd. Polls are just a general representation of the general population. If I had done a better job framing the poll question perhaps more members would have voted. Sadly, now,.... the desire for some sort of differently specialized forum has passed by .....and without more member participation because of that.

I see the looking at the poll numbers some people just like to throw there money away on the a national lottery that is biased towards certain states. And I was suggesting if there are people supplementing their incomes with lottery profits, it's more likely retirees or someone with a lifetime fixed income. It's obvious somebody winning a few million doesn't have to work, but I believe this poll is asking if anyone can make a living on past and future pick-3 or pick-4 lottery winnings.

It's no joke to many, I recently saw a poll on the TLC lottery show that 40% of those who make less than 50k per year are relying on a big lottery win for their retirement. Had these folks put away 1/2 of their disposable/gambling money in a 401k or Roth IRA , they would have been well on their way to a decent retirement.

That would actually be an interesting poll. Do I just want to make a statement and have a small drop that I would survive so they would feel sorry for me and give me a share? Or do I really want to end it all. And what was the amount of the jackpot if it was a billion dollar one it would be greater remorse than a ten million dollar jackpot. Interesting......
