Gearing up for the end of the stupid 6
Same to you smd173. And all of you others, too.Haven't seen slips for Match 6. Probably first thing Wednesday Morning, when it goes on sale. I think I'll pick my own numbers, that way I remember what they are. Hate to replay them when I win , though, that's what happened with the first Pa. powerball-won $20 beginner's luck, although I';ve hit well in Delaware.Anyway, yes, the Keystone Jackpot game was replaced by Super 6. Forgot to mention. Actually, if I recall right, the KP (Wednesday?)

This might be useful to you. In 1999 somebody won power ball in washington DC . remain private and claimed their jackpot with help of his lawyer. The winner of the December 11, 1999 Power ball drawing has formed a trust to claim the prize. Although the lottery has checked out the winner as required by law and rules, the $24,463,084.04 lump sum prize is being claimed by a trustee. The Lottery confirmed that the winner is from Maryland, is at least 18 years old, and is not a DC lottery employee. Tr

Has anyone here ever won the lottery big!
Well, since you asked: the most I ever won was the grand total of $426.50. Twice, several years apart and two different games. What a coincidence. The first time was Pa. Wild Card Lotto, in the late 80's with 4 numbers, plus the wild card number. Missed a 5th number by one (had #22 instead of #23 or whatever). The second time was in the mid 90's when I hit 4 of 5 on the Cash 5. Next to that, hit for $290 on the daily number in 1993 which came up straight I played 50-50. On my birthday, yet.

PA's new game 'Match Six'
Other than scratch tickets? (where winners are pre determined, and do not really follow mathematical odds, except of random distribution).Sure hope so, that's been introduced in thel legislature over the years, never made it. Still haggling over slot machines. Unlike Delaware, West Virginia and other states, the slots will not be ran by the Lottery bureau, but in private control, like New Jersey. My buddy at the Capitol says that the Lottery bureau will run the (Bar?) Keno (such as in Md., W

PA Super Six is going away...
didn't know DC will get it. I understand they have (what i like to call) bar Keno like in Md. and W.Va. Maybe the Pa. Lottery can run that. My Capitol Hill insider buddy says that may be coming. Good game, except states set payoffs for high profit, but could make it more player friendly if they choose. They don't. Computer Keno games for fun pay off better. (like hitting 3 or 4 in 10 for even money.), still though....thoughts anyone? Charlestown is only less than 2 hours away (I-81). Whe

PA Super Six is going away...
Agree, that's why Super 6 was invented with astronomical odds. Then Powerball was changed to bigger odds, but better odds of smaller prizes. Actually still OK. If you live in Pa. You know that the lottery never gets it right the first time. And if they do, the game gets scrapped. Again, would prefer hot lotto over powerball. High end should be enough for me. On an unrelated nlote. I feel the same thing will happen when we get slots. Delaware and W.Va. does it right by having the lotter

PA Super Six is going away...
Maybe. Some people are superstitious. One of the original complaints in 1972 was that people couldn't pick their own. (pre printed tickets). Daily 3 digit games computer generated changed that. The Winner's Choice game (mid-70's) was supposed to have changed that, but it didn't last long enough since people didn't buy enough tickets to get it to operate. A similar thing happened in Delaware about the same time. Imagine that. Running a lottery and no body comes. Couldn't generate enough r
