tx is driving me crazy
YES, they do use the same ball sets for day and night draws. BUT, they are currently using 10 sets and they rotate them each draw. WE may get 1 or 2 sets the same as the previous draw. Go to the TLC website and you can see what sets they have used for each drawing...day/night.If they were using just 3 sets....the SAME 3 sets for each drawing...maybe we could out-guess them.

Man sues S.C. Lottery, claiming the state is misleading ticket buyers
This same problem has come up in other states so it's nothing new. Ohio resolved it by having a Top Prize Drawing after all the tickets are sold or the game ends. Tickets with a TPD win a prize and are entered in a drawing for the top prize, so as long as some tickets have a TPD on them a chance to win a big prize still exists.

You may laugh you may cry........
I know this was like so thought out it was crazy. These guys switched tickets, picked the numbers that came up the previous drawing, tivoed the drawing so they could let him see those winning numbers. Good thing they told him though the same day, that would have been horrible if they let him go on all night thinking he won that jackpot which I think was in the $20 million range.Brad

Who has draws Christmas Day?
I think I should probably delete the predictions people posted for games that don't have drawings today, so that nobody's stats will be affected by the lack of a drawing. However, before I do that I'll need a comprehensive list of games without drawings today. I think the best (and foolproof) way to do that will be to wait until early tomorrow morning, and then I'll look at the Daily Results page, and the games without a result in the square will obviously be one that didn't have a drawing.

Who has draws Christmas Day?
The results page for each State has the date of the next drawing on it, but it seems to be incorrect.(ie: It says their's a drawing on 12/25/2005 for NJ, but their isn't)

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
I think Powerball is once again underestimating its cash jackpot. Based on sales, last night's cash jackpot should have been $12.5 million. Sales of $13 million for the next drawing would support a cash jackpot of $16.4 million. My theory that Powerball funds its set prize reserve by drawing down the jackpot still holds.
