Perhaps I was unclear? I said the only reason I could think of for not buying tickets from a state which allows for anonymity is if you reside in a state which does not tax lottery winnings. I'm not talking about someone trying to buy tickets in a no lottery tax state when they reside in a state which imposes taxes on lottery winnings. Interesting. I've played way too much lately, so I'm going on a hiatus for quite some time until my bank account recovers. Even though the new $20 Gold Rush has better odds at hitting $500, I'm finding poorer results playing that compared to the other Gold Rush. @ MrGray - Really? No $20 Monopoly either? I keep going back and forth debating between which is the worst $20 ticket: $20 LFL, $20 FM, or $20 Super Millions. All three, have been comparably bad to me. I've seen nothing over $150 on $20 FM. The old $20 Gold Rush had another jackpot hit, so it should have 3 jackpots remaining. This board is probably monitored by some lottery officials but I don't think they're worried about anybody 'cracking the code'. As zephbe said, a number will ge locked- 911 is common on 911 for example. That's because there is a ceiling on payouts. Illinois used to have no big jackpots going on Thursdays. It was mentioned on this board. Someone waved a magic wand and the lotto that used to be M-W-SA was moved to M-TH-SA.

blah. I was excited to hear about a new 20 dollar gold rush. but not anymore. why do they keep raising the jackpots on the 20 dollar games to 5 mil? I am quite sure the new odds will be terrible to win 500 and the like. ill be very shocked if its better than 1:300. I even wish they lowered the jackpot to 1 or 2 mil on a 20 $ game and added a lot of medium wins such as really good odds to get 100, 200 and 500 dollar wins.

I tend to think it's a combination of both because, if it is destined for a person to win at some point, they will win providing that they play. The luck portion of it is probably better suited as 'luck of the draw' but, that's only my opinion which is also strongly supported by the odds in question. However, there are also several stories by winners who professed the power of manifestation as their eventual path to winning and I'm a solid believer in manifestation because it works hand in hand

That's a good point, the 435k-455k range does look promising. You did well for us Krissam. The first 12 could be helpful info, but the info you've provided has been very helpful. I'm also surprised at the one hit in book #51812, that tells us one of the earlier jackpots that originally wasn't found was found fairly late. @ Florida Winner - Congratz on the $1k winner on the $10 Jackpot ticket!
