N.C. resident speaks out against computerized lottery drawings
JS9:That's not true. Quick Picks are generated by the lottery machine where you buy the tickets, and the Indiana lottery drawing results are generated by a couple of PCs in a room in lottery HQ. I'm not saying that computerized drawings are any good (they're not), but I just want to be clear that Quick Picks are generated in a different place. However, from what I understand, the RNG employed by the Indiana lottery drawing PCs is pretty simple, so it is probably fairly similar to the RNGs used

CA and Mega Millions
CA's payouts are weird.....last drawing the 5+0 prize was listed as $250,000 and now for this drawing it was only $310,000. A sixty thousand dollar increase isn't that much for over $3 million in ticket sales.Brad

CA and Mega Millions
$24,000!!? LUCKY!! I wonder if we will ever see a MM drawing where CA gets NO match 4+1 winners. Then it would be really interesting to see how much the CA match 4+1 winners would get the following drawing.

TN midday drawing on the web.
Now that's a well presented drawing. Thank you for pointing that out, and thanks to WKRN for posting them. I'd like to see a Lotto 5 drawing, I bet that's cool too.

Your lottery pool won,but you didn't play
It's not YOUR pool if it didn't have any of YOUR money in it to purchase the tickets. Every ticket you buy is a chance at winning but does not entitle you to ownership of any portion of the jackpot unless your ticket matches the numbers (digressing to an earlier thread), every pool stands alone as to participants paying into it for a chance to win a particular drawing. If you fail to pay into the pool for a particular drawing, then you do not own any legal right to partake of any benefits bough

A strategy that works on pick3
Not flexible enough to justify the effort. Each drawing is different. If you use a cookie cutter approach, you will fail most of the time. Those too lazy to do their homework will fail. This isn't workable. There is no magic formula to this quest. Every drawing deserves a complete workup.Orangeman

Mega Millions lottery jackpot raised again to $315 million
I am not $315 million (minus taxes) richer tonight. I am not even $2 richer, like I was last drawing (which I transferred to this drawing). Hopefully, it's like Rover and rrrrrrrrrrolls over.

An on-line lottery ticket is a bearer instrument until signed.I sign my tickets before the drawing? How many of us do?Do you sign your tickets before the drawing? Always? Sometimes? never? Never have before but will now?Always have but will quit now? LOL
