That's what I've always thought, but I've also wondered if the JP counts as income for the yr. when you claim it or when you won it? Well, it's true that a sampling can hit hard and then have long stretches without it hitting. But, with what you're saying, how is using an algorithm supposed to be frustrating players? I've cut back on my lottery playing too. I normally spend $6/week on tickets, with $2 of that going into a pool of Powerball/Lotto/MegaMillions tickets that would be split between 11 people if we win.
