Thanks, Jani...I was too busy blabbing on another thread and missed the drawing.I lost so I'm betting it was Jeanette Rivera doing the draw. She is my bad luck charm...I've won with Linda K., John Connors (?), Mary D., etc.........but I have never won when she's doing the draw and usually I'm not even close. I wish WGN would publicize who will be doing the draw...I would save money avoiding her draws. Thanks again for the update...back to the drawing board.

2nd tier prizes
Talk about luck of the draw hey.A couple of Mega Millions drawings ago there were no $250,000 prize winners when there was about $16m in tickets sold for the drawing.Last nights drawing had nine $250,000 prize winners and there was about only three million more tickets sold (just short of 19m).Brad

Anyone have a vtracs prediction method?
John,I have a simplier Vtrac system. I sent a copy to Carbob (Florida) to experiment. What I did was create 5 rows of 7 vtrac combinations. Each row has 1 triple vtrac, 4 double vtracs, and 2 no match vtracs. So you have a chart with 35 boxed Vtracs. Each row is identified by a letter A through E. What I want to experiment with is patterns by letters. The other thing is columns that are due or have the longest skip.Looking at Minnesota I see that column A is currently skipped 18 draws. The

What Has helped The Most?
Hi Lantern, well, currently i'm working on a systemsanalysis for the software itself, meaning that i'm still investigating the needs the software must have to analyse the past drawings. I don't make software that only just analyses the past draws and make no predictions. It has to make predictions, otherwise i can well so do it all with pen and paper. (like Califdude stated; sometimes its easier and faster to just use pen and paper, or at least, thats what i think he meant...)The information i w

Car salesmen lottery pool wins $16 million jackpot
50 bucks sounds steep for a pool that runs for every drawing. It's the reason I don't play though unless the jackpot is big. If I spend a lot on a drawing where the jackpot is big it makes up for all those times when the jackpot is small and I never played. Sure the numbers might come up when I'm not playing but odds are they will never come up at all. I just view the lottery as my small shot at having a permanent paid vacation.

Hypothetical question...
The last two night's drawing results (or more accurately, ANY two night's drawing results) will appear together MULTIPLE times in the 10 million number database (on average, at least 10 times). Is your plan to look for just the first match, or check EVERY match?I'll have the results this evening... and I'll do some foreshadowing by mentioning that you aren't going to like it... <g>

California and Mega Millions
The USA Mega Drawing Information page shows the exact amounts that Californians would win (or did win) for each prize level. A single California 5+0 winner would have won $925,000 this past Mega Millions drawing.

Hoosier Lottery insists computers are better than ball drawings
here's the thing. as the director stated in the article, they can't afford to buy air time for the actual drawing.here's the solution (and i've been saying thids for quite some time). upload the security camera footage (video and audio) to the website, so players can see what exactly goes on during the drawing. if necessary, dub it into a digital tape format.

Hoosier Lottery insists computers are better than ball drawings
Thank's CashOnly for that bit of useless information. this isn't about PA's lottery. Hoosier Lottery officials if you are reading this can't you see that by continuing with computer drawing you are loosing money take a hint from states that use ball drawings and get back on track with states that know how to treat their players. One to a great time watching ball drawing and the other a chance for them to get back into the game. If you don't make more money using ball drawings then scrap the pick
