well the winner still haven't come forward yet $590 Mil PB
I think if I had to dwell on that possibility I'd lose my mind. So I'd rather think that this person knows they still have 5 months left and they're getting their affairs in order. Plus, I don't see why unclaimed money should be turned over to the states in the first place. They are already making billions (so they proudly state) from the lottery without needing the boost. Why not add back into the PB pool. If in 5 months no one claims the $590M they should add it to the JP, whatever it i

Found my answer online by googling. Thank you all that responded to the same question in the Florida Cash 3 forum! Quote from the Florida Lottery: Unlike the Lottery's other terminal games, which are pari-mutuel in design (that is, players are vying for a portion of what is in the prize pool), Cash 3 and Play 4 offer set prize payouts. Therefore, the Lottery has established a $5 million liability limit for Play 4 for any particular four-digit number in each drawing. Should any four di

Thank you OB. Just found this on the Florida website after doing a google. Sorry I haven't been posting the numbers. The numbers don't really mean that much to me. It is a random thing. I play the odds rather than the numbers. I have a partnership (which has a long story behind) it and the idea of getting the numbers out of can was just to try and open his eyes to the points I was trying to make. The odds are (using a wheeling system) and wheeling 6 numbers - odds are 1 in 9.3 (10.8%). My partner has been playing the lottery for years. I am totally new at it. I am m

Powerball Rollover This Saturday? ( Voting )
What are the chances that the winning set will be contained in the remainder of unsold combos? Billion dollar territory would be insane! Someone once provided a breakdown I believe even Todd remarked on....it described just how the quick pick pool might be handled. Does anyone remember that thread comment, poster or have a link?

Would you spend $10 Million on a home.
Absolutely. I think the older you get, not only is it less important to try to outdo the Joneses, a house of that size would require a lot of time, effort and upkeep, even if you had a staff. Seems like too much of a bother to have in your senior years. That being said, Judge Judy built her dream home a couple years ago for $40 million. Of course, part of why it cost so much is because she had it built in under 4 months, by a builder who specializes in expediting mansions. The crews work aro

Would you spend $10 Million on a home.
You could make it work and if that's what someone really wants then it's their money. With investing, you need to be raking in at least 3% just to keep up with inflation. So you need to make way more over that to have actual spending money on top of the growth to keep up with inflation.Keeping it in a savings/money market/CD is very safe (super low risk) but also you're losing money each year because inflation rate is higher than the interest earned in those accounts. Also certain investments yo
