Lotto Pools - Best Tips?
At my workplace we are going to start an official lottery pool, and by official I mean a sign-up sheet that will be passed around for all participants to sign. We've organized lotto pools many times over the past few years but it's been done in a rather slapdash fashion. Now we want to do it right so as to avoid, oh, you know, any number of courtroom nightmares we read about in the lottery news, should a large win occur. We don't want a litigation experience. So we need to get the ball rollin

N.J. Gov. Christie signs online gambling bill
Internet gambling scores its biggest win New Jersey on Tuesday became the biggest state yet to allow regulated online gambling, establishing a template that proponents hope other states will follow for a business that federal authorities long treated as a criminal enterprise. The new law allows Atlantic City's casinos to run websites that take bets on games such as blackjack, slots and poker. It also could help legitimize online-gambling companies whose executives the U.S. Justice Departme

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Eventually, somebody posting HALF of the number pool, was gonna get lucky. And that you're ignoring the fact that he's probably gonna be behind if he plays another, IDK, hundred or two hunded draws. And before you go on to say how crazy that is, keep in mind that they hold about a hundred per year, and you are very likely to play a few hundred to thousand draws if you're a regular player. And none of the critics are saying that the didn't produce a jackpot match (although he didn't wi

Do some number combinations have better odds?
A cousin of mine ran an office pool and wrote the software that generated the Random picks for 13 people. They hit for $20M. Another relative won around $100K. The experiences of neither your relatives nor mine prove anything other than that THEY WERE LUCKY! And you have yet to prove there is any other explanation.

Problematic positions
Hi manual, you are on to something, and like your approach, but want to stretch a bit further. What's the difference between this deviation system from matrix (arrays) using the digit analysis of each state? The digit analysis gives the positions of digits by frequency within certain time frame(You can set range), with this you can set up your matrix I was on your site testing 'manual test'( I presume not deviation method), I had some interesting found, not by entering the draw set, I had to

Arizona pick
I'm in Az, too. I think originally the pick was 36 numbers, right? Now it's 44. I am guessing your numbers now don't include the 8 additional numbers added to drive up the odds and increase the prize. I quit my old numbers when the odds changed and they added new numbers. Luckily in Az we have a company that is a professional lottery pool. I've been with them for 2 years now. Last March one of my pools with 10 players hit the Fantasy 5 for $247,000. You have to be an Az resident to play

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Anytime you successfully eliminate numbers from the number pool and play tickets for that draw........ You are playing number combinations that have better odds for that one draw. Does it really matter that statisticaly you will have to pay back those odds? Especially if it just so happens that you win on that one particular draw? You will never think twice about The statistical laws of probability You will be happy that you won playing BETTER ODDS.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Ronnie316 is using conditional odds. For example IF he is able to trap the 5 correct numbers in a pool of 29 numbers he has improved his chances of winning regardless of the odds for the game. Thank you RL, this is a very simple and straightforward observation that jim and boney refuse to acknowledge.
