A lottery syndicate is a group of individuals who play the lottery together. By pooling their money and buying multiple tickets collectively, players increase their chance of winning a lottery draw and share any winnings between them. Traditionally, lottery syndicates consist of a group of friends, relatives, colleagues or neighbors. A lottery syndicate is better off without members that don't pay their fair share!

I'd hope that Massachusetts had ways of raising revenue that didn't exacerbate addictive activities like gambling, but I guess that would require the thoughtful, difficult work of tax reform. Sad but true! When a state starts running out of money the first thing it does is put pressure on its lottery officials to increase sales, rather than find ways to reduce wasteful gov't spending. I hope we don't get to the point where playing the lottery is mandatory, LOL.

I like Random Eliminates All Mathematics, since it's absolutely true, although a lot of players can't accept it. I disagree about eliminating all logic. Logic can't increase your chances of winning (other than buying more chances, of course), but it does point to a couple of sensible strategies. One is playing when the jackpots are bigger, since that gives you the same chance of winning more money. Dee yes!!! it screwed up the numbers for real However, I think it was a genius move on the lottery - this is just one of many examples on the 14th of this month I was waiting on a serial number to pop up and what did they do ----it came in the combination 020 w/ball 3 there was the serial number in the combination 023 so now that is our 2nd serial number for the month and we all know they come in 3's and om the 10th the trip came in the combination when 199 w/ball 9 . Even if you could remain officially anonymous, could you remain practically anonymous? As in, your neighbors don't know, your co-workers don't know, etc.? That gets more difficult as your winnings increase. If you win hundreds of millions of dollars, that's impossible. Save yourself the time and money and buy tickets locally. The cost of moving is a drop in the bucket if you win big.
