What do you think of this idea?
Doc,It takes one minute to conduct a lottery drawing on TV. And don't you think that helps their ratings enough to offset the cost of conducting that drawing. We are very fortunate in IL to have Linda Kollmeier conduct a lot of the draws on WGN and if you ever saw her and heard her bubbling enthusiasm you'd know what I'm talking about. So I voted hate it . But yours is a better solution than untelevised computer-generated drawings.

Powerball/Mega Milions Jackpots
I've always thought that the reason for the $10 million to $12 million to $18 million increase went like this:The first drawing on a new jackpot, PB and MM pay out $10 million if someone wins. But they've only got $6 million to contribute to the jackpot from sales. Oops, dip into the emergency fund for $4 million. That rarely happens.Next drawing, things are back to normal....the same $6 million from sales to the jackpot brings the level to $12 million....$18 million the third draw and so on

Texas Triple **ALERT**
I had a feeling a triple would come up, but I was sure it was going to be 888. Just one question though -- has there ever been a time, in any Pick-3 that U know of, that a triple repeated itself in the next drawing, or that a different triple showed the next drawing??? With the Texas Pick-3 acting-up the way it has, I'm wondering if that could be a strong possibility????

The Pigskin Challenge for Saturday 01-22-
My system is a combination of my drop ball theory and draw history. This last drawing I decided to do something new to tweak the system a bit and that was to leave out the 5 balls from the previous drawing to narrow things down a bit. I ended up leaving out 32 and 33 and going with 30 and 31 instead - so much for the tweak.

New Delaware Lotto Game to be Launched Amid Concerns Over Drawings
here's a thought.the main problem is cost. televising the drawings takes up quite a bit of money since it pretty much advertises for the lottery. instead of televising the drawings, post the video footage of the live drawing, like the the tri-state games do (www.nhlottery.org), on the Internet for players to view, so they're getting an actual drawing, and the lottery is saving a ton of money by not televising the drawings.VT, NH, and ME are the best examples of this.
