I'm getting on the F eM train and pulling my MM budget out of the race. I will put my $6 in the pot once it gets to a billion, other than that forget it! It's ALL or nothing with these folks. I read a report a few years ago stating that if they would lower the odds of the minor prizes, 4+M and below, 24% and increased the pay outs of those minor prizes 52% there would be 68% more winners. The odds is always against you, with few picks, you focus on prize ratio . The picks are positional, but with few picks is best to wage combo bet(straight) or increase your box bet(for bankroll). The time frame is cost saving strategy.A draw 1234 is not the same as 2314 (see recent MI hit ), the time frame keeps you in check not to delete any pick. Good Luck.
