Agree..usually numbers are pretty good @ 022, 023, 024, 025, 026, 027 etc...the 020, 021, 022 even 023 on those Instant Jackpots all seem bad. 013 and around it seem good on the Golden tickets..I tried some today and didn't get much more than $20 out of them. No vaults, no banks, no multi 'ticket' symbols...just blah and pretty much boring lately on the Goldens.

Decided to try two $20 tickets today..... I got two $1,00,000 Jackpots and scratched them in the store. The first, ticket number 001 was a $20 winner. Lame Ticket 002 was a loser, I guess that getting your money back might not be so lame after all :/ I'm done until the new $20's hit. After that I'm going to buy a few of them and wind back down to playing only once a month or so.

i should have replied $5 is way for too much for a ticket with almost no chance of winning $1M. they should tweek it for the 2nd prize to be paying 1 million also and $5 would be a dammed good deal a 2nd prize payin 1 mill would still be millionaires that maybe the odds could be 1 in 5 mill. surely the top prize would still be hard too win and jackpots would still be built. i really dont feel 500k then tax, as your only chance at 1 mill when the jackpot goes off, and paying $5 a week for

No, it's not the first time you've ever heard of it because it's not the first time you've been asked this. Also, it's been on one of the Lottery Changed My Life TV programs. Some of the big jackpots on the Miracle Mile were pre-California joining Mega Millions. May you be as lucky as you are stubborn, regardless of location.

Correct. This creates more winners because the number of available $1 million prizes increases every draw there isn't a top prize winner. It's just like rolling jackpots except with $1 million prizes. Once the top prize hits the cap ($25 million), all new funds in the jackpot pool go to additional prizes. Been sticking with the ($10) $2,000,000 Jackpot tickets lately. Most I've won on it is $100 thus far. I've actually won $100 on it 3 times in less than a month, so I am going to stick with it until I find a bigger prize. No doubt that those who run the lotteries prefer more frequent winners as opposed to large time gaps between winners. The big jackpots attract a lot of occasional players. It's also kind of entertaining that the same people who want to see rollover after rollover get so p.o'd when someone else wins and it's not them, or they get upset about the location of the winner.
