Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings flawed since inception
Being as other jurisdictions already use computerized drawings for Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, how in the world can a contractor who is being paid good money screw programming up so badly? Absolutely incredible. It's not as if they were creating or even had to create a new program, and it isn't rocket science. I've heard it before and I'll say it here, never underestimate the human capacity for utter stupidity.

Poll on Florida Lottery Site
One of the benfits to the lottery bottom line is less lottery employees with computerized drawings, I doubt they would vote computerized. The lottery people.

Poll on Florida Lottery Site
I'm wondering if this isn't just a poll by Florida or a marketing test of sorts to see if computerized drawings would go over or not- because they might be thinking of going to them. Why else would they put such a poll up?

Computerized Drawing
Ball Drop for sure. Some lottery corporations will never do computerized draws as their marketing/PR departments know that players will not play if its computerized. It's all about transparency. When these states/provinces go computerized their is the preception that the computer some how manipulates. No matter how much animation, razzle-dazzle, or thought is put into it. Here in Ontario, the OLG to my knowledge asked players if they would stop buying tickets if they were to ever go comput

Picking your own numbers.
Scorpio said some things that really do make you go 'hmmmmmmmmm'......... interesting indeed. Problem is, the balls are randomly drawn, they can't pick which ones will hit, that I'm convinced of. Now, if they go to computerized drawings, I'm done with PB forever.

Paranoid or Prudent?
Uh ... the lottery is not checked ? The lottery is one of the most checked government organizations. Some use two different independent auditors to check (audit) them. They check not just finances, but the workings and measurements of the equipment, as well as security. I'll repeat here that I think the one area that really suffers is computerized drawings. Because there is no foolproof way to audit the workings of a computer program, computerized drawings are the Achilles heel of ev

Computerized Pick 3 lotto
My state (CA) is computerized but it still hits using systems. Badger is correct,no matter what system you use regardless of computerized drawings or not,it will never hit everyday and will run hot and cold.

CT Classic Lotto 2/6/07
I have been divided about Connecticut CL for some time. On one hand it pays out 52%, which makes it a far better game than the 6/59 where I live. On the other, Connecticut should be a Hot Lotto member, computerized drawings or not. AFAIK the game never got to $5 million in 2006. BTW Connecticut has had a 6/44 game since 1989, including Wild Card Lotto in the late 1990s.

Random Generation of Quickpicks
I basically agree with you, but the reality is that taking such a stand would require taking the government to court, which is something even Donald Trump would have a tough time doing. The government has unlimited resources at their disposal. I think a much better approach is to force them to act by imforming the public of what they are doing with these computerized drawings, and they will be forced to act to counter decreasing revenues.
