Prosecutors say Tipton rigged two jackpots he purchased tickets for in Kansas
MUSL computerized drawing scandal now confirmed in 5 states, still looking for more
The former security chief for a national association that operates lotteries personally bought two tickets that won jackpots in Kansas, investigators said Monday, bringing to five the number of states where he may have rigged lottery drawings.
Investigators recently linked Kansas jackpots won in 2010 to Eddie Tipton, the former security director of the Multi-State Lottery Association, Iowa assistant attorne

ILLINOIS LOTTERY MOVES TO COMPUTERIZED DRAWINGS
So putting discussion of the Quick Picks RNG in the same discussion as the drawing RNG is a red herring it is a side-show that distracts from the point.
I thought the discussion was about the possibility of rigging an RNG in general with the intent of getting a desired outcome or preventing multiple winners that could cost a state lottery millions. There was no other tickets, QPs or self picks matching the jackpot winning numbers the drawing the prosecution convinced a jury Tipton rigged.

Current Powerball Run
How in the heck is it rigged? You think the ball machine is rigged? lmao. I quess you think pro wrestling is real also.
As to the run its always the same. With so many goof balls picking birthday numbers we just need luck that all or most of the balls coming out of the hopper is numbers 32 and above.
cheers

Tipton was sentenced to five years for each of the two counts of fraud, to run consecutively. He did not make a statement during the sentencing hearing.
In July, a Polk County jury found him guilty of two counts of fraud. (See Former lottery security employee guilty of rigging $14.3M drawing, L

How Random is Random?
Amen bobby.
I get weary with the a-holes who keep saying PB and MM are rigged.
Odds of hundreds of millions to one, and they're rigged??? With odds like those, they don't HAVE to rig them. And forget about predicting, except for blind luck, period.

Extradition trial begins this week in $16.5M Hot Lotto fraud case
The Hot Lotto people have a huge huge problem proving it's possible that Tipton rigged the drawing five or six weeks before and then actually rigged a lottery terminal to print the same numbers.
Any terminal can be made to print out any combination on a ticket by simple filling out a play slip, I do it all the time since I'm a system player.
What I don't understand is this being called a $16.5M Hot Lotto fraud case if $16.5M was the projected annuity pay out amount over thirty years. If

Texas man charged in Iowa lottery case contests extradition
Prosecutors theorize that Tipton in November 2010 inserted a malicious software program into a computer that ran the random number generator for Hot Lotto, allowing him to manipulate the winning combination for the jackpot.
It didn't take much evidence to get a Grand Jury indictment for fraud against Tipton because they have video of him buying the ticket, but they might need more than a theory to convince a Texas court Rhodes was involved. They have phone records proving Tipton spoke to Rhod

Guys when I went to play my numbers today I ran into a lottery official and he swore that the drawings are not rigged....said that if a number keeps popping up they change the balls because they get soft. He also said that the machines that they use to draw the numbers are in a 2 ft. deep vault and I said so no one can figured out its rigged He's never actually touched the balls but claims it is legit and even gave me a business card to call the office to schedule a visit if I like to come see a

MegaMillions is ready to be won again
Now, what has that got to do with anything?
The ticket was bought as a quick-pick at a store, it wasn't manipulated by this individual, so therefore it wasn't rigged. He was security
and their rules are as such. NO MUSL employee can buy Lottery tickets. What he did was unethical, but the Lottery wasn't rigged...

Lottery Rigged?
The question that never fades away. Tell me if I'm the last one to find this out.
I'm a member of NC Lucke Rewards. As such, I enter the Entry Codes from non winning tickets for a chance at secondary prizes. Recently, I entered the entry code from a Carolina Cash 5 multi draw ticket that had not been fully played out. The code was accepted and I didn't win on the future draws. Thinking I can go ahead and enter the entry codes on recently purchased tickets that have yet to be drawn and see if
