I have to disagree with the comment about not using Sums in your game strategy because it depends on how you use them.Whether your using Software or paper\pencil here's 2 things you can do.Sums should be broken down into categories like so for the Pick-3 Low=(1-9),Med=(10-19)and High=(20-27)and this for the Pick-4 Low=(1-9),Med=(10-19),High=(20-29)and Higher=(30-36)You can track a group and select the one you feel is due,overdue or hits more frequently than the others.Another strategy involve

Sums in Pick-3 good or bad?
Sums are just one more tool. I never understood the value of Sums before because there was not an even distribution of the numbers on the 1 through 37 chart. Now that there is a 10 column chart we can apply math averages and probability. Now we can vector in on groups of numbers. Sums by themselves are not an answer, but on those times when other indicators are vague they sometimes help cut the odds. Sometimes it's one more confirmation.

Sums dont matter? Have you considered the fact that it's more likely that the 3 digits will Sum Total between 11-20 then not? I did an analysis for the State of Texas for a year and an overwhelming majority of the games that played sum totaled 11-20 by nearly twice as many times as they Sum Total 0-10. Sum Totals 0-10 showed up 3 times more then Sums 21-27.Consider this fact about Sums too.....Odd and Even Sums. The only digital combinations that will Sum Total EVEN will be either 3 Ev
