never play quick picks
Just curious if this is the *real* Richard Lustig or just someone pretending? Can you list the 7 lottery jackpots you've won? I thought many were scratch games? (no quick picks involved) Thanks

Two years of $2 Powerball
Does anyone happen to know how many people have hit either the 5 + 0 or the jackpot under the current Powerball game -- the $2 one that started two years ago? I'm just curious. I know whenever the jackpots get big and make the news, a small number of people complain that the game should give a million dollars to lots if people instead of one person winning hundreds of millions. (Drives me crazy to hear that argument.) So... Anyone know how many pre-tax millionaires the Powerball has

never play quick picks
CDanaT, One source was the Mega Millions website FAQ page. It said something like 70 to 80% of ticket sales are quick picks and 70 to 80% of jackpots are won with quick picks. See anything there?

What do you do to increase your luck in winning?
play in well organized group that buy tons of tickets play games that have relatively low odds of winning but high jackpots (think raffles, 6/49 games, scratch tickets etc) I also have a lucky coin I carry with me, say what you want about it but its better than nothing

Post your scratch ticket results
Hi, all just found this website and i think it's great. Was wondering if there were any st.louis players here. I actually live in illinois about 20 min from stl but personally i think illinois scratchers suck. I've won very little the last 5 years i've lived here. I grew up in missouri and more often than not i would atleast get a free ticket back not so in Illinois. If anyone's interested the last week i've bought 4 $5 monopoly jackpots. 2 in two visits several days apart. The first se

Do you have specific plans as to what you will be doing after your PB/MM win?
Math is usually a problem when all players believe they will win PB or MM jackpots. What do you believe the odds are of all 151,535 LP members winning a MM or PB jackpot? And why are you here? It's none of your business why me or 151,534 other LP are here. Did someone ask you why you're not a Premium or Gold member?

If both PB and MM jackpots were equal and you only had $2 for tickets. What would you do?
If both PB and MM jackpots were equal and you only had $2 for tickets. What would you do? I would buy 1 quick pick ticket for PB The odds of hitting the second prize influences my decision above.

Take5 NY
I friend of mine at work got 4 out of 5 on one of her regular lines. She plays 15-16-17-18-19 every day. Even though there were no jackpots winners last night she only got $457 for 2nd place. The night before there was also no jackpot winners but the 2nd place winners got $818. But there were only 198 of the $818 winners and there were 363 2nd place winners last night. So that is a good reason not to use gimmicky number selections. IMHO....of course.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
My bad I did not catch that part. I am also wondering too how many entries it took for a person to win. Thanks for requesting the data even if you get back a response from them or not. I know those big time jackpots recently was claimed on just a few quick picks, and the odds of those are even slimmer than the 2nd chance.

Wondering if I should go back to buying scratchers?
The things I don't like about scratchers are there are only a few tickets that can win the jackpots and if none of those tickets are in the town or store where you shop then you aren't going to win no matter the number of tickets you buy. You have to be where the winning tickets are when they are sold. With lottery drawings, anyone who played the winning combination can win regardless of their location when the winning numbers are drawn. I just think it's easier to predict the winning combina
