Powerball Sales at an 82 Month Low (in terms of tickets sold)
I didn't even buy a ticket for last night's Powerball drawing. $2 per ticket for 1 in 175,000,000 odds is just plain ridiculous. I haven't been playing Powerball or Mega Millions that much lately. Every so often I'll get one ticket for one of them, but now I'm staying focused on Hoosier Lotto. 1 in 12,271,512 for $13,500,000 sounds pretty good to me, and I always buy at least 5 lines, so my odds are at least 1 in 2,454,302. Of course, that's before I apply any filters in my system. 1 in 2,454,30

can you retire after winning pd 5+0 w/ pp or w/o
With your sentiment on the $1.4 million scenario. The key to living comfortably without depleting your nest egg is allowing your money to work for you. Netting 1% on a monthly basis would provide someone $14,000 to live on. Achieving similar or slightly better results isn't too difficult with a seasoned money manager.
The $695k nest egg could also allow you to retire as long as the funds can produce 1% (7k) per month. Being sensible and grounded goes a long way to make your money last.

Excel Question re: Macros
I tried using the macro recorder it didn't work for me. So I asked for help I got it from time*treat. I also went out purchased a book 101 Ready-to-use Excel Macros by Michael Alexander. I hope that this will give me a better insight on the macros. I am not a programmer, but usually I have a way of resolving things that need to be done. I know what macros are intended to do, I just have to figure out how to write them edit them. Being retire, I have the time to learn.

New York Dream Team 6/1/12 - 6/30/12
Hmmm 067 combo six ways!? Seems like the dude was a newbie because combo means six ways! Hey LuckB, what was the price on the ticket? $3 or $6 either way if he finds that too expensive then he should retire early from gambling!
PS, not extremely happy that you have another suitor!

Going after 100m Powerball Jackpot?
I don't care what the jackpot is, if I win it, it's enough to retire!
That's worth a buck or 2.

Michigan couple killed after lottery win
Wow in Japan! Must be some tough dudes out there. Good luck in that open tournament, bring home a few trophy's? I'll try following on YouTube.
No great luck, a $200 scratcher, bunch of small ($2-7) wins on PB, MM's. Can't retire quite yet.

Britain's youngest lottery winner still broke, but expecting twins
That's great that she's happy, but she will probably never forgive herself for wasting millions. No fromer winner who lost it all does, but you cannot cry over spilled milk. I just wish America allowed this. I'm sure many parents as well as the teens would love this. No, this does not always have to turn negative. Your kid can send him or herself to school if they still won't to go. Parents can also retire early. Younger siblings futures can also be secure.

48 Philly transit workers win $172M Powerball jackpot
Nope. Those 100 Sargentos Wisconsin cheeseheads that won that $201 million annuitized Powerball jackpot nearly a decade ago are the current pool size record holders. I bet many of them that we're younger than 50 are still working. When I get lucky enough to win the Mega or Powerball lotteries, I don't want I have to keep working to be an option. I don't play the lottery as my option to retire or afford to be able to do that. No I play the lottery to have chance for my wildest and most ambitious

I asked my co-worker this...
I will have 25 years on my current job in just over 4 years, so if the interest is making me 50k a year, I would probably work until I have the 25 yrs in and then retire. I'll still be in my 40's and I haven't completely abused my entire body (sorry Mr Liver) that the interest would be a nice compensation.
I can easily live the same life I have now without the long hours at work and make almost the same money staying home.

Kansas Mega Millions winner claims jackpot anonymously
then why bother to play and win the lottery then. if you win immediately take spelling lessons with your share. but, if this about to retire kansas couple aren't planning to run off to thailand with their money why bother to claim it anonymously. certainly, their town fire dept.,schools, and library could use a halfway decent donation. if they do that they will be known. if they don't do something charitable then yes, they are kansas greed balls. it may be no ones business but you can't have it
