That's exactly what it boils down to. But here is where the hilarity ensues: THEY STILL PLAY THE LOTTERY!!! They have all this supposed proof and they KNOW for a fact it's rigged and only certain people/certain places/certain states ever win...but they keep buying tickets!! Even though they don't live in the 'rigged' states. And every time they don't win they see it as further proof that it's a scam.

Not if the odds are still set... deviations are normal in the short run. Depending on what you're talking about, 100 trials usually isn't significant..... I much prefer the stories of duplicate-esque numbers where there are winners involved rather than those where its all 'pre-programmed' winners. Doesnt this kinda add fuel to the 'see? the lottery is so NOT rigged' arguement? if it were rigged, they wouldnt have allowed so many winners... no?

There are lots of KY Pick-4 drawings when no players cash even a 50 cent straight ticket. There are lots of Midday and some Evening drawings when the payout less than $10,000.
