QP numbers selection
I'm not sure if the numbers are generated by the local machine or the HQ server, but I do believe they are transmitted to the State HQ, not National. This is why it takes Powerball a few hours to verify with each state that there is a (or no) winner for the drawing. If all ticket information was held in one location nationally the winner results (whether there was one or not) would be available in moments.

Could there be a reason people that win jackpots have 1 play on a ticket?
I don't think jackpots are won by people with 1 play on a ticket. Its just how the numbers go. Every lottery machine that generates numbers for quickpicks are different. Most quickpicks are high numbers, some are low and some are both. When I win one day, I'll let u know lol.

Do you tip your cashier when you win?
Not just NO, but Hell NAW would I tip a clerk...even if the clerk said they think a pick your number will be the Mega Ball/Powerball and I take their advice and mark that and end up winning the jackpot. Why tip them? Hell I like states like OK where you can purchase your Powerball ticket from a machine...when you do that, no need to even feel guilty about not tipping anybody as I know the machine can't talk!

can it make a difference when, where you buy a qp
I have noticed that with Powerball if I pick a couple of my own lines and let the terminal pick the other 3 plays on a $5 ticket, the terminal will duplicate some of the numbers that I picked on my tickets in the QP lines. However, if I pick my first line of the Multiwin Lotto game (that is what they call it here in DE. In PA it is known as Match 6 and in Maryland it is known as Multimatch . They are all the same game but with different ball totals to select from. A few other states have a 5 out

can it make a difference when, where you buy a qp
The answers are in those two topics when it comes to my experiences from the last couple months. My local grocery store's machine seems to like consecutive numbers and duplicating either numbers I picked or just whatever ones that were previously used on the same ticket. It's partially why I started just buying one at a time and then another the next day and maybe at the gas station I have to go by anyway on my way back. Though next week I might try again with a five dollar easy pick to see what

Watch out for "vultures"
Heh Heh Heh ... You can't compare apples to oranges. If I knew that a lottery machine was going to spit out a ticket that at least doubles my wager within the next 30, I would be the one thanking the losers.

Automated Machines- the hazard
First of all, I wouldn't have put in $20.00 dollars at once in a machine! Second) To put in 5 bucks at a time will do, since that's what comes out on each ticket (5 lines @$1 per-line). Heck if they don't own the machine or they don't have the means to preform any actions to keep said machine running properly, I sure as heck wouldn't use it! I think you better make more time for the use of the old fashioned store clerk method or you could get ripped off again by using another machine or you coul

North Carolina 4/1 - 4/30
The midday no. for N. C. today, April 1st is 208 and I let the machine pick some of my numbers and one of them was 082 of which I won with as I had an any order ticket. It seems here lately the machine is doing much better than me.
