Can anyone tell me how the root sum is figured or direct me to a website that explains it?

CA midday Sums 14, 19, 22 and 23
Hi,
these 4 sums combined, 14 - 19 - 22 - 23, are out for 54 draws,
they have an average skip of 6.07 draws, which makes them 8.9 times due.
These are 34 boxed numbers:
Singles (6-ways): 18
Doubles (3-ways): 16
059, 068, 149, 158, 167, 239, 248, 257, 289, 347, 356, 379, 469, 478, 568, 589, 679, 689
338, 446, 455, 559, 266, 667, 077, 577, 778, 779, 388, 688, 788, 199, 499, 599
Would be nice if one of these would come in today, but don't count on it. Just keep these sums/numbers

pattern checking using sums
Sums, gaps, positions, ranges, they all have been used by someone on this board. Several have also tried A.I. programs to find patterns among the winning numbers but the programs lack the sophistication and/or the dynamics to see beyond the obvious. Most lottery programs have charts showing sums, gaps and ranges and it's up to the users to come to some conclusions beyond the obvious. If you're predicting winners than you're coming to the right conclusions some times. The trick is to come up

Winning Pick 4s From WIN D's Pick 3 Hors
hey now Maloney,
did a lil' research from my bed, based on history of drws, now if um right, these sums are due and may help to close in on ur WIN D's Hors even more,
Pick 3 sums 01, 07, 08, 10, 16, 21, 22, 23, 27 roots are 1, 4, 6 Pick 4 sums 29, 24, 27, 21, 19, 15, 13, 11, 10, 00, 09, roots are 1, 4, 9
now this is just my 2cents worth, and a bit of wonder i guess, um gone keep an eye out every chance i get! now the roots are most likely with ur sets and as u have said
