New York Take 5 coupons ??
I agree with the odds of the 3 hitting again being low.. but look what happened when I covered EVERY # but... Here are the two qp's I won... 2 3 18 21 30 (note the 3 again!!) 16 18 29 33 34 (18 in both?) Also back in the mid 90's I did an office pool with Take 5 and we tried both picking #'s qp's. There were 15 of us, so each day we played 15 times. Best we did was 3 of 5 either way. We gave up after 3 months..

distiquishing the red from the white
some very good points Jarason, thanks. we usually run 4 different PB#'s that way we have a better chance to hit, but it still doesn't ruin the solidness of the hit. I don't think your logic is twisted at all. (well, no more than the rest of us..lol).. We have a guy on our pool that believes that the Powerball starts with the Redball, everything else follows behind it. maybe, I need to just focus soley on the redball before picking my other numbers? I like to think that I am a decent playe

The JP and fast food
I voted yes, but that is wrong. I voted yes at first because I figured I would be out and about spending all that dough and would HAVE to eat at those places to keep my pace. I don't like slowing down once I get going., whether I have the money to do so or not. But once I thought about it, I probably would not. I intend on hiring a nutritionist to do my cooking for a while., building my home with a gym in it and working out more. (I know, why wait, right? No room here for a gym and I can't

Discrepancies In Previous Drawing Records?
the first version of The Big Game (January 12, 1999 and prior: first 5 numbers were 1-50 and Big Money Ball was 1-25). the second version of The Big Game (January 15, 1999 to May 14, 2002: first 5 numbers were 1-50 and Big Money Ball was 1-36). the third version of Mega Millions (May 17, 2002 to June 21, 2005: first 5 numbers were 1-52 and Mega Ball was 1-52). the current version you select five distinct numbers between 1 and 56, and one Mega Ball number between 1 and 46. Past 10 drawings having next drawings 5-6 numbers?(6/49)
You might skip the previous drawing and include the next 10 instead for example. (Didn't work with the sample in my first post, went from 14% to 7%) Or you might include more drawings and use the most or less popular 30-33 numbers in the group. What ever you do, it won't be near 100% and if you have all six winning numbers even 50% of the time in a group of 33 your odds of having three of those numbers in one combination are 1:20. You have to pick a strategy and be prepared to lose some

Stupid Question-Quick picks VS Your Own #'s
Since I'm new on this site, I'm thinking I can get away with asking this question. I'm just wondering, statisticly, which numbers have a higher probablility of winning, quick picks or your own #'s based on whatever you base them on? I've been trying basic analysis stuff, nothing fancy. No exciting winnings to report as of yet. Now, for the last few months, I've been in charge of the lottery pool at work. I've been doing quick picks, but have been getting frustrated with the occassio

wheel five with 6 numbers?
Whether you use a Gail Howard wheel or a Bluskov wheel, a wheel is only as good as the numbers you put in it. Therefore, to SELECT those numbers you need to study her number selection strategies in Lottery Master Guide, which is also advertised on this site. Number selection strategies are based on what is likely to happen. For example, if your lotto game averages one repeat number a drawing, then you need to include at least one repeat number in your wheel. You did not buy the wrong boo

Belmont - Brooklyn Handicap - 9/22
Disappointing that this race only has five entries. Makes for lousy payouts. 10th Race - Belmont I'll go with # 1 Sightseeing (5/1) to Win for the price advantage over heavy favorite # 2 Any Given Saturday (2/5). Sightseeing... raw odds are 6/5; Any Given Saturday is 1/2. Sightseeing will be overlaid in the betting pool. Good luck!

Quick Picks can't match the power of Self Picks
I buy a quick pick for most every mega draw. I am usually never happy with the numbers on them --- meaning i rarely get quick picks that have numbers i would have even thought of playing. When we bought quick picks in a pool i would go over the numbers and shake my head having found that out of 100 or so tickets many tickets had similar combinations of numbers either sequentially or by position. I expected to see lines that are completely different from one another. Not tickets with the same num
