I think it was someone play winning Mega Millions number for Powerball and won 1 million. They play the same number for almost 5 years.

It depends how much I won. If it was a reset of Mega Millions and I split the base jackpot then yes, I would continue to play. If I won a jackpot of $80 million where I would most likely net $30 million after taxes then no, I would no longer play regularly.

When Mega Millions had that $15 million dollars jackpot on July 22nd, 2016, there were 2 tickets had won the jackpot. If the Mega Ball wasn't 7, then it would've been $20 million dollars immediately. Right now, Powerball went from $67.6 million ($46.5 million cash option) to about $82 million estimated with a cash option of $56.9 million.

Difference between Mega and Power Ball machines?
Just curious about the difference between the drawing machines used in Mega Millions vs Power Ball? One seems to push balls up and the other down-- and perhaps even blown around/mixed differently. Do these machine types have a style name? And I haven't paid attention to if MUSL runs both mega and powerball, but if it does, I wonder why they opted to use different styles of machines....

I still don't understand. Call me stupid I don't care. Mega millions is a multi-state game. All proceeds are accumulated with that particular lottery game fund. So how does California get to decide the payouts?

How is this legal? According to the lottery website, mega millions, hitting 5 numbers are a million dollars. Is a million a million or not? If not, then advertise it as such.

For games like powerball and mega millions, when I play, I usually only buy one ticket. For games with lower odds, like Wisconsin supercash, I usually run my numbers (which I change daily depending the the previous days draw) multiple times. The jackpot is 350K and they allow up to 20 winners per day.
