does age play a factor when winning the jackpot?
I am ambivalent about the subject...Yeah it is true that a 40 or 50 year old is better off handling their money than a 20 year old..It is very true...I also have this weird belief that the older you are the more likely you are to win the jackpot... But what is also true but overlooked is that when you are older and the older you get the more PICKY you get...I know for instance than when i was 18 i was happy with having my house, any house...And i am sure some of you felt that way when you w

Paranoid or Prudent?
Okay, I'm going to say something here that will probably cause me to get a lot of criticism. I've been playing lotteries for about six years now. The lotteries that I favor are the PowerBall (preferably a PB lottery pool) and the Arizona Pick 6 (after it gets up to about $2mill). I make enough money to live a comfortable middle class life style, but it's my desire to retire early in life, never to work again. And I've looked at and studied the AZ Pick 6 (and the PB) lottery every which way that

Just curious, but does anybody know...
ArtVanDalay Let's rephrase this say that by having played all the Powerball numbers you can guarantee that one of the tickets and that the pool will see a return of at least $3. The one line of numbers that has the Powerball number may have 0 matching numbers from the top matrix or all 5 matching numbers from the top of the matrix. But unless more $ comes back than what was spent, it is not a win. This is why video poker is called electronic morphine - people put $1.25 or $5.00 i

can someone please tell me how to run a lottery pool?
There are two lottery softwares for running a lotto pool, they may contain advice and forms that would be useful to you. Check your game's website some like New York have information or expect pools to register in advance of playing or you have problems when you win. http://www.darwiniansoftware.com/ http://www.tidalcanada.com/lpm Your best chance would be quick picks unless you have some method of predicting the numbers within a larger field in which case you could use a wheel. If you

How to get started?
Hello Everybody, I'm new to lottery post, however, I have been playing lotteries for a few years now. I've tried different techniques and systems for playing the lottery, but none have proved to be very reliable. Is there any standard way out there for the best way to play the lottery? Any suggestions or helpful hints? I've read some of the posts in this forum, and you guys seem so far ahead of me in-as-far-as systems go. I live in Arizona and mostly play the Arizona Pick 6, which has now

Magic Box Numbers
thanks for the workout Pac!! So let me see if I'm getting this right.. look for 3, 4, and or 5 in you're list above of 40 #s... so we have 26: 014 143 430 301 347 476 763 634 903 032 329 236 365 652 523 569 985 856 125 254 541 412 458 587 874 745 You could try and reduce by rt sum or somethingamajig like that! LOL.... I'm seeing rt sum 5, 7 or 9 for FA tonight...so this reduces the number pool to 9: 014 430 347 763 032 329 365 412 745 Maybe you can reduce further by tracking

The so silly its stupid system
I have been experimenting a little with the positional lotto number selection approach lately myself and I think that most of us can see that if we are writing the numbers out from left to right, lowest to highest, then there are certain numbers that can only occur in certain columns up to a point and then the remainder of the numbers could occur in any column. This is all based on whether we are talking about a 6 of 6 lotto game, a 5 of 5 game, etc. For example in a 6 of 6 game, #1 will alwa

Expensive Michigan Lottery tickets sell-out quickly
I do not agree with the sentiment that $50 is too much. In fact, the most popular lottery in the world is more expensive -- El Gordo. $50 tickets are great for these infrequently-held drawings (i.e., special events). In Spain (where El Gordo is held), the expensive tickets are actually broken into 10 parts called Decimas, so that people are able to buy 1-tenth of a ticket (and get 1-tenth of the prize if they win). So people can opt to either go all-in or part-in. What a great concept!

If I reduce the MM or PB number pool by half and play 3o2e/3e2o...(?)
i didn't say there wouldn't be a repeat. Mega mill has only had 184 drawings since the last matrix change. powerball has had 469 drawings since their last matrix change this is of course if the figures are right. In Maryland we have bonus match 5 every day there have been a hand full of times the same numbers, all 5 have repeated. Mind that these repeats were month or years apart. I don't have the exact figure on how many drawings have taken place. But it's several years worth.

You buy a 2line ticket to pool with 1 person but they don't pay the $1
You clearly had a contract with your coworker to split the cost and split any winnings, and you clearly agreed to buy the ticket on their behalf and be paid later. You clearly bought the ticket with the intent that you would be co-owners with equal shares. At that point the coworker owns half of the ticket. That they don't pay on time is a separate issue from ownership. If you were ever late with a credit card payment and didn't take the merchandise back to the store you've already agreed that
