Mega Millions back in June went up only 9 Million on a 250+ million jackpot roll. Tonight if it rolls it'll go from 30M to 38M. What the hell is going on with these fast moving jackpots? Looks like the slow increase season has ended.

If Alabama gets a lottery then it for all intents and purposes must add Powerball and Mega Millions which are mechanical. If they add in a local game, odds are it'll be an RNG given the latest state to add a lottery (Wyoming) did exactly that. That said, I still think Alaska will be the next state to get a lottery before the other 5.

I believe that's the first time the Mega Millions jackpot was won in back-to-back draws under the current incarnation of the game. Also, only the third time a minimum jackpot was won in the current incarnation - the $25 million won last Tuesday was a two-roll minimum, and a one-roll minimum of $20 million was won on March 25, 2014.
