Office Pool concept
I'm looking to create an office pool, and there's a lot of avid lottery players. But I'm torn on how we should create this pool. Is it better to have a higher buy-in amount but provide a better payout odds if one of the tickets win? Or, is it better to have a low buy-in amount, but the prizes will be split by 10,000 participants? (not sure if I would go that extreme, but definitely a possibility.) I just think it's very odd that those numbers do not correlate with tickets (supposedly) sold, and there is no formal site showing how they are actually numbered. Both pool and on my own. I only play PB, MM, and Tx Lotto. I actually run 2 different pools at work for MM and PB. One is just with my supervisor her reports, a total of 5 people. Then we have a larger pool open to all the employees in our office or that work out of our office.. 19 regular players, 1 semi-regular, 1 irregular, 2 never play, and 3 who asked to be excluded. Every drawing is a new lottery pool, and winnings stay with only those in that pool, and usually roll to the next drawing.
