$206 MILLION: Mega Million lottery jackpot soars
Another quick pick jackpot win, its so obvious that its fixed. They put some balls that are lighter than others in the machine so the the lighter ones go up. It is funny they gave the folks that pick their own numbers a chance to win it on Friday with 03-05-08-18-29 14 which are very low numbers. Of course I knew the mega ball 14 was coming so i picked and chose 7 as one of the white numbers, and let the rest to be selected by the machine. I took 150 dollars home. I figured the game, with the od

Here's the Thinkable Truth
It would be very easy for Statisticians to tell if this was the case, unless they rigged it in such a way that nothing would appear abnormal - in which case, it would basically be statistically random.
I see your point - which is why I generally trust a ball draw more than a RNG, but a ball draw can be rigged as well.
Over the course of a few hundred draws, though, any cheating would be apparent unless they were very careful to make sure that their cheating matched normal distribut

Could the Lottery offical do this??
Small games have been rigged before. The Pennsylvania Lottery's three digit numbers game was rigged many years ago... they weighted some of the balls. Called the 1980 Pennsylvania Lottery scandal ... well documented.
For a big game like Powerball, it's practically a license to print money for the operators. I doubt they would risk killing the goose that lays the golden egg for a game like that.
But you never know.

Michigan Daily games appear to be rigged
I have uncovered yet another very suspect daily 4 lottery purchase this time from 2006. The clerk who sold the evening 4 four digits told me that the customer called him with not much time left and begged him to purchase $400.00 worth of straight up tickets on numbers that ended up winning. 400 straight and no other numbers bet....just the winning number about a half hour before the draw. And over 500 other tickets were sold that day as well. This is a simular pattern to several other amazing hi

Canada's New Lotto Max: Rigged!!
How many windows should the room have to ensure the drawing is not rigged?
And if the room had a sufficient number of windows and nobody was looking through the window would that be a problem?
And if nobody looking through the windows was a problem, how many people should be looking through to ensure the drawing is not rigged?

Study: Hoosier Lottery has worst financial decline in USA
No surprise here. I was very skeptical of this lottery before I knew the drawings were computerized. I originally began purchasing scratchers and like previously said, I would buy 10 or 20 and not win once; while the odds were 1:4. Sure enough, I emailed them and was told that 1 in 4 tickets printed were winners, but players were not guaranteed to win every 4 tickets. I realize the tickets are distributed to many vendors, but the tickets are printed in runs, so theoretically you should win every

Michigan daily games ARE rigged
As long time player with more money then I care to mention invested in Michigan daily games about 3 years ago I started to research and ask questions about how they are being run. Based on months of: a)..looking at the very limited information the state of Michigan provides us. b)..from talking to many retailers all over the tri-county area. c)..and viewing 1st hand how the draws are run....it is my conclusion with a a high degree of confidence that the players of the Michigan daily games are be

GIGABALL, with average jackpots of over a BILLION dollars, but the odds to match?
No, I would not play this.
Some people think the lotteries as they are now are rigged.
The one proposed here wouldn't have to be rigged, players wouldn't have a chance. They might as well skip the formailty of playing a ticket and send the dollar straight to the lottery with a note that says, Take my dollar, I can't stand having it.
Any state or group of states that would allow such a game shouldn't be allowed to have a lottery.

Same Mega Ball three drawings in a row...
Because I believe I will win one day, rigged or not. I believe they rig it for profit... not to dictate who wins or not. I do, however, believe the
state in which the winner comes from is rigged. I don't think they really care who in that state wins, just as long as they came from a certain state/states and that the payout for that run is still under their control...to a profit. So, I can't win it if I don't play at all. And I don't know when my state will be the one to win that run.
