Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
So based on my initial calculations, the cash jackpot in the new PB matrix would have to be $262 million for the equivalent of $150 million in the current version. I must say I am not very impressed. While they increased the 3rd tier prize, all other prizes have remained the same yet suffered increase in odds (with exception to the bottom two tiers). I had high hopes for the proposal of including the multiplier on every regular ticket, but it looks like now they are just increasing the odds la l

How many tickets do you need to win the Lottery?
Hmmm. I just feel like I have read something profound or something I should pay attention to. In PB and MM I sometimes play the same first five numbers and a different power or mega ball just in case I won the second prize so I would get more money. I thought it was increasing my odds of winning the whole thing but assuring any smaller prize would be bigger. I never thought about just playing the same number straight across to increase my take of the jackpot in case I have to share. I will have

What I did see with the PA 5/30 game is that you should not use the same sum for all 6 Steps. That is, if you add the step such as 221 = sum 5, make sure all of the other 5 steps do not total a sum of 5. Such as 122, 212, 311. Rarely do all Steps total the same sum.
I look for repeats, trends, increase/decrease values.

Thanks Increase.
Those even number series are not my favorite numbers, but I must admit they have been very good to me.

Pennsylvania lottery winners to be taxed for the first time
you are not benefitting one iota from this tax, and neither are the senior citizens !
SS and pensions are exempt from Pennsylvania state tax so a tax on lottery winnings and a 0.7% increase won't effect them. How many PA players win prizes over $600 every year?
