Make a MUSL jackpot game that's HARD to win.
Uhh, no I'm not crazy. Take a look at Powerball lately, it's also becoming a joke. Two $50 mil. jackpots won in a row. Someone out there in Kansas right now is laughing all the way to the bank.
Actually given the fact these birthday numbers have been winning lately, I'd change the number range on my game make it 32-99,999, but leave the MB/PB 1-49,999. Really, I'd like to see anyone win this game every consecutive drawing. I think if this game were won on consecutive drawings, I'd want to hav

Someone in my town won big on a scratch off ticket should I not play scratchers in my town now?
Hi everyone,
Okay just a question. Found out that someone in my town won a big jackpot on a scratch ticket. It was the 5,000 a week for life 10 dollar ticket (the guy choose the cash option and got 4 million). I'm wondering if that means there will never be another jackpot winner on a scratch off ticket in my town again. It seemed like many other surrounding towns would have scratch off winners for jackpots but not my town, now that my town has a big winner I'm wondering if I should continue

Possibility of Mississippi lottery worries Arkansas lottery officials
This is going to be a fun to follow development.
There are some very high powered people that will stand opposed to this, but these large jackpots and the monies a state like this is missing out on is forcing legislators to re-think their stance.
CA is finally taking on Powerball now the Bible Belt State of Mississippi may facilitate the Dollar and a Dream?
Interesting indeed!

EuroMillions lottery jackpot of $102 million goes unclaimed
hey ive been homeless, if someone no longer wants you in their house, say you can leave your stuff there till you find a place there, and when you go back to collect its on the road side. maybe it was the winning ticket. maybe it was in a stolen car that wwas torched, maybe the person died? \
there are a lot of reasons a ticket can go missing. its why our state has a player card that all tickets purchased are recorded on. IF THE TICKET IS LOST THEY HAVE YOUR CONTACT INFO . and they will

Met a REAL lottery winner & they confirmed what I had always thought.
After reading this thread on their smart phones, thousands of regular lottery players are walking off lines as I write .
Lottery commisioners across the union are in a state of panic.
Accountants are crunching numbers as reports on sales are reviewed and compared to previous weeks when the jackpots were at similar levels.
I wonder if Todd is being pressured to delete this thread

Quick Picks verus Self Picks
Political issue.
Oh yeah I get it now, QP's are a party favorite because they are always winning the jackpots.
Winners should always pay less, losers should always pay more.
Therefore QP's should only cost $.50, self-picks tickets $2.

Honestly would you really care how much taxes you had to pay??
I like your common sense here. Regardless of what goes down, you're gonna pay the government their's, and, especially if you take the lump sum. The gift tax alone is 35% on that option but, as you've said, you'll still have way more money than you really know what to do with after that. It's still a ton of money to put to work and generate even more money without much effort. Taking the (25) payments is good as long as you're somewhat young and take care of yourself...can't account for freak acc

Advice On Strategy for Lottery Club
Just let your members choose their own numbers since you only have few tickets and members anyway. This will help you avoid members blaming you for losing (which most lottery players do anyway).
Wheeling does not really work in big lotteries. There is no system to help you win other than buying as many tickets as you can whilst avoiding bankruptcy if you buy too many.
Lottery clubs win jackpots as well as individuals. No secret. Many just buy tickets and hope for the best.
