Tucker Black, what you said is true but every pit boss and shift boss I worked for said any $1 bet that might win a million dollars is a good bet. This all started when the casino I was working in at the time offered to pay $1 million if any piece of Skylab landed on the casino property! If I remember right it landed somewhere in the ocean close to Australia. I didn't say most likely to happen, I said more likely to happen between hitting all six numbers or hitting five and no Powerball.

So...why you think lottery officials pre-test if the numbers suppose to be random to begin with? And I already debated and established that it has nothing to do with making sure the machine working properly. I've given this some thought. They really don't need to run any pre-tests. You still don't get it. A lock, sure bet wins. Not puts up some and loses some but is no doubt a winner. You work in a casino and say the dealers takes chips out of the 'tray'.
