Legal fight over $33M lottery ticket could end next week
A $33 million lottery jackpot is in dispute, with two men from Edmonton, in Alberta, Canada, laying claim to the hefty prize.

20 N.Y. Costco workers share $202M Powerball lottery jackpot
The 20 oversized checks, each made out for $201.9 million, seemed appropriate for these lottery winners.
A group of 20 Long Island Costco employees calling themselves the 1937 Flatbush Avenue Dodgers stepped forward Thursday in the parking lot of the big box store where they work to claim first prize in a June 1 Powerball jackpot.
The winners, who opted to take a lump sum payout, will share $70.2 million after taxes, New York state Lottery officials said.

Mass. lottery player claims state's first Powerball jackpot

A retried U.S. Navy civilian worker from Fall River, Massachusetts, came forward Thursday to claim his Powerball jackpot, Massachusetts lottery officials said.
James Jimmy Freeman won $25.6 million in the Powerball drawing on June 8. Lottery officials said he opted for the one-time, lump sum payment of $13.4 million before taxes. He came forward to claim his jackpot just several hours after learning he won the massive prize.

Group of 20 Costco workers will share massive prize

A group of Costco employees were very happy Thursday morning and very rich.
After 10 consecutive drawings passed with no top-prize winner, the multi-state Powerball jackpot stood at $200 million Wednesday evening. The winning numbers drawn were 8, 18, 38, 46 and 56, with Powerball number 31 and Power Play number 4.

$200 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot heats up

There was no jackpot winner in the Saturday night drawing of the multi-state Powerball game, causing the grand prize to increase to an estimated $200 million for Wednesday's drawing.

Powerball lottery jackpot increased to $171 million

The multi-state Powerball lottery drawing happened last night without any jackpot winners, causing the new jackpot for Saturday's drawing to grow to an estimated $171 million, with a cash option of $88.7 million.
Wednesday night was the 9th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner.

One lucky lottery ticket sold in Spain won the entire 123 million (US$174 million) jackpot in the Friday Euro Millions drawing.

Euro Millions launches new Tuesday draw with €100M jackpot
