Estimated 31 MaxMillions $1 million draws coming Friday

For the third straight week, lottery players across Canada will take their chances at a $50 million main jackpot and a rising number of $1 million MaxMillions bonus drawings.
On Friday night, no tickets matched the seven numbers drawn to win the $50 million main jackpot, so the upcoming Lotto Max draw for Friday, March 11 will remain at an estimated $50 million with an additional estimated 31 $1 million MaxMillions

Florida lottery player claims $182.1M Powerball jackpot
A 69-year-old Kissimmee woman arrived in Tallahassee Thursday to claim the $182.1 million jackpot from the Feb. 26 Powerball drawing.
Ines Carvajal claimed the prize in the name of the Carvajal Family Group, and opted to take a lump-sum payment of $91,187,716.61, before taxes.
Her jackpot is the second-largest lottery prize ever won in Florida, behind the $189 million jackpot won in October 2009 by Dr. William A. Steele of Orlando.

Canadian wins second multi-million lottery jackpot
A Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, woman is in shock after becoming the lone winner of Lotto 6/49 this weekend her second lottery win in four years.
Ann Lepine bought her ticket like she usually does when there is a big jackpot this time purchasing nine tickets. She checked her numbers a dozen times on Saturday night to confirm she was indeed the winner.
Saturday's drawing awarded Lepine $7.6 million, and she said her most emotional moment was when she shared the news with her mother.

Florida lottery ticket wins $182.1M Powerball jackpot

The winning lottery ticket for Saturday's $182.1 million Powerball jackpot was sold in a Publix store in Kissimmee, Florida, located on a road with a very fitting name.
It's at 2340 Fortune Road and someone who bought a Powerball ticket for Saturday night's drawing at that store has won a fortune.

The multi-state Powerball lottery drawing happened last night once again without any jackpot winners, causing the new jackpot for Saturday's drawing to grow to an estimated $184 million, with a cash option of $90.1 million.

Powerball lottery jackpot jumps to $155 million

The multi-state Powerball lottery drawing took place last night once again without any jackpot winners, causing the new jackpot for Wednesday's drawing to grow to an estimated $155 million, with a cash option of $75.9 million.
The new grand prize is the largest Powerball jackpot since June 2, 2010, when one ticket from Ohio won a $262 million prize.

Retired firefighter is $122M Powerball lottery winner

Stephen Kirwan, a retired 68-year-old Greene County, New York, resident, was introduced this morning as the $122 million winner of the Jan. 22 Powerball drawing.
Kirwan, who came forward with his winning ticket on Monday. chose the lump-sum payment option instead of 30 payments spread out over 29 years, according to the state Lottery Division. That means his winnings will be reduced to $61.2 million. After taxes, the amount will be $40.4 million.

New York Lottery officials say they'll present checks worth more than $170 million to two upstate New York winners of two recent Powerball drawings.
